Use an other sd card. Hello again! No news 'till today. I replaced the near 6522 but with no result. I unplugged all the eproms except from Basic and OS, i placed a NFS(I tried also a DNFS eprom) eprom, but with no avail. I get the same symptom when i just plug the flat cable. What i am trying to do...

i think it is not a plastic additive or softener. to much for it. i am more thinking it is a procduct of electrolyse ( if that is the engish :) , i have to look in my old schoolbooks what it can be between null volt and 5 volt. but it can be a combi if it is only stuff that is there when electric is...

Do not forget that old dutchman😆 there is a mmb solution fit te tube port that i think not a problemen with pi tube it is called usb smart forum tube with a China usb chip . it was a project wit software Finding it in this forum is difficult i know

for bbc + the mm.... the right one works better because of the page the smart-spi will always work :) , but page at &1900 further smart-spi has things that mm.... ? do not have like *dput and *dget mm.. ?? has a few other commands i think smart-spi is the best rom every for bbc :oops: :^o [-X :shock...

oke what did you try so far ? try to read track 0 ID markers , with a simple machine code program in the advanced disc book try this with more then 10 sectors , maybe 20 or 50 ? preform a seek 0 , before you read id numbers on track 0 maybe you hear the arm moving ? if not then track 0 is track 0 :)...

the intresse thing is what happens if the disk drive controller can not make sense and it is not a error :) , a disc drive controller trys a lot ( the 8271) before it report an error. then comes the dfs mostly programmed for BBC standaard discs format. and is not that good if something is different....

most of the protection disc are tested by discdocter and exmon1 , that what i did in the old days :) later came exmon2 and adi or was it something with copydisk III i think that track 0 is not at track 0 , but somewhere in the middle of the disc. did you scan the whole disc for id track numbers ? ev...

do you really asking the programmer to write down how this is done ? it is a sort of game :) , there are people who dig in a program like ADI2 to find a weak spot then use it :) i personaly know a few tricks that i have not seen there yet , and i will not tell :) i do not know if this disc use somet...

if your still have problems maybe open up your beeb ?

maybe some chips are missing for dfs ?? not propper installed ?

mmm that is a first turbo mmc was working and the SPI rom not ?? both use the same routine for checking the card and user port. they do not work together ! one at the time :) first check your keyboard. if that gives problems the whole beeb has troubles. maybe a key is pressed or hangs ? second check...

very strange is that the programmers not use to check in the main program if the disck with track 1 is still there ???

sub program : read id's of track 1 eor with data if not a result disk is not org. disc. bad disc/program :D

oke know how it is done :) the m code with !boot reads every time track 1 sector 0 , because all sectors are 0 :) now how to get every sector 0 in memory &2000 ... &2a00 it is timing. riscky but that is why i do not work on every dfs. from &30d9 to &312c they are syncing the disc time at &312c they ...

if we want to know what is going on we need the disk track ID from track 0 and track 1 the !boot i think is on the real track 0 , loads track 1 with delayes own nmi routine (&d00) comparing every loading sector with the one it has loaded in memory at 2000 to 2a00 looking only from 20CC on, till 2100...

by 8271 you don't need track 0 , sec 0 sec1 and sec2. look at my disc protect systeem :). if the 8271 do not find after index hole track 0,sec0,1 it steps 255 times all over de disc to find it :) so track 0 sec1,sec2 can be at track 9 the only thing you have to do is make track 9 the ids for track 0...
