i have a menu program that copy's rom or ram from swr stl , to disc 8271 maybe 1770 ?? . it also can store to rom's from 8 k in 16 k and use them both , with swap util that will not go away util you power off the bbc

problem is how to upload the advanded STL menu ?? on forum

no no the 1770 is a add, the 8271 has a lot of protection tricks. but fm :( it was fun to program the 8271 , and let de discdrive make strange sounds , because track 0 was track ff , not 10 sectors but 1 sector. and lots of other funny thinks :evil: bbc b was my first computer, i lots intrest in mac...

to much ic's paulv :) there are usb--rs232 thinks for pc for 1or 2 ponds
the problem is the 5 volt line , and the software ;)
do you make software for fat/fat32 or the old ssd files, if you write a hole new eeprom ??

there is nothing wrong with the wire things :), but you can not move the at28c256 anymore ( and bbc). it's a little board am making, the chip i might use is not there jet. it might be a counter chip or a troggle chip that also flop's R/w for pin 27 / 22. if you don't bend pin 27 and pin 22 , you can...

without the dfs/net rom , no diskdrive , no diskdrive no dfs in swr sideway :(
thus mmc without the discdrive ?? how then copy discs files to mmc card ?

thank to the builder of the eeprom at28c256 i am working on not to bend the pins 27 and 22. foto next time why 2 wires with R/nW and nR/W on the bbc there is nearby the tube on mainboard a hole R/nW make a wire then to a SN74ls04 and you have nR/W. there is also on chip 26 (74ls139) a pin LDA notROM...

problem mmc interface with SWR board solidisk

i am dutch , with very bad englisch write/tolk ablity :)

because they both use pb0,pb1, ( solidisk pb2) they conflict.
must i rebuild the super rom ?? any hints on where ?
pb3,pb4,pb5,pb6 are mostly free
