It seems that Plusnet not only limit you to a total of 250MB web storage, but also a daily traffic limit of 250MB!
That is what I call retro hosting
Come on Plusnet, we're already living in 2019

Actually I was thinking about a Pi Zero inside.

Maybe the board can be design so that it fits inside with a
Pi Zero or outside with a full sized Pi. It depends on how I can position the 64p connector.

Re: Atom Tube Interface

Another idea pops into my mind: shall we build an Atom Tube interface with the level converters "on board"? It saves an additional pcb and it saves space in the Atom. It's only two ic's extra....

I did this "trick" on my BBC-ports-for-the-Atom board and it works great :)

These boards should work with the Pi Copro but you need a level shifter board like this one: https://stardo...

Re: Big Benny: a real time clock for the Atom

Wim, BBAS2FIN still has a bug. It displays the digits of the day and month in the wrong order. You might not have noticed it on the 10th of January. On the picture it shows 01-10-19 which is not the Dutch notation for the date. It should be 10-01-19. This versions shows it correctly and also display...

I have created a set of man-pages for the games. Just copy the files in the archive to the /manpages directory and type MAN AGD to get started.

Big Benny: a real time clock for the Atom

First of all, this is not a new design. It's a design from 1983, so it's about 35 years old. The last time I used it was about 30 years ago but today I wanted to reinstall it on my Atom. The board was designed to fit on PL8 on the Atom, at the keyboard side. However, today most Atoms have their AtoM...

Re: BBC ports to the Atom

The select pins have different names on the buffer and the Pi connector. So this track is not routed on the board. It's easy to repair, just a piece of wire between pin 11 of the connector and pin 7 of U2. After adding that wire, the PI zero starts printing the Atom's output to the second monitor :...

Re: Your stories: what do you use your PiTubeDirect for?

I use a Pi Zero as an extra hi-res colour display adapter for my Atom. It's connected as second display as it does not yet emulate the 6847. With a few hardware and software adjustments it could be configured as an emulator but it would probably be slower. Of course, there's no software yet that use...

Re: Acorn Atom weird video idea

Yes, I did implement a lot more VDU codes. I have a dual monitor setup for my Atom. The Pi can draw circles, rectangles, triangles, lines, text (in user selectable fonts and size) and has also already support for a mouse pointer. It works quite reasonable but there's much more to do due to of our co...

I'd still advice a static 8k cmos board for video memory because it's cheaper, draws much less power ( and so produces less heat) and gives an additional 2k of workspace that will be used by many programs.
