Slogger "Electron R"

Does anyone know what the Slogger "Electron R" was, or was it just vapourware that never materialised? http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/mags/eu/ills/6_02/s-p29.jpg I noticed from the advert there is no price, just 'phone/write for details', so maybe they were just fishing for interest? If it did exist...

Never had anything like that on the Electron, but Action Replay conjures up memories of using the Action Replay cartridge on Amiga from Datel Electronics.

Re: Electron Forever E-Magazine Issue 1

The good thing about a magazine is it condenses all the good stuff into one place. i.e. like someone doing the hardwork of finding all the interesting bits and pieces in the forum and condensing into one easy to digest magazine. Perhaps he could have a section, Pick Of The Forum or something, where...

Re: Electron Forever E-Magazine Issue 1

Thanks for downloading! Most of the PDF is vector graphics apart from screenshots which are quite large, due to bitmap use it comes to about 18Mb in size, hence the slow download, especially if you use a data connection. Not the biggest though, I have downloaded some. e-mags that are >100Mb :-P Futu...

The Towering Inferno typein listing for BBC Micro

Hi Its been "doing my head in", but I remember there being an adventure game type-in in one of the 80s computer mags called "The Towering Inferno", it was in a magazine I didn't really buy so probably bought a one off, initially I was thinking The Micro User, then Your Computer, and then I found the...

ASM Newbie: Delays, waiting X seconds

What's the best way to do say a 5 second delay? In BASIC I would reset TIME and wait for it to pass a threshold, in assembler I ended up creating a counter that counter down from 255 in another loop that counted down to 255 and called that numerous times, way overkill, sure there's likely a real eas...
