Re: Educational Archive not in STH

Here's The Grammar Tree: Nouns & Adjectives for the BBC Micro, by Sulis Software. This came on two unprotected cassette tapes, both of which easily transferred to disc-image via a DataCentre. I added the menu program.

I was about to make disc images of a couple of Ed Tech items that I recently found: Whispy Wood and Christmas Tales.
Did you ever get around to doing this, btw?

Acorn User discs missing? (Aug - Oct 1994)

The Acorn User magazine cover discs for the August, September, and October 1994 issues seem to be missing or at least incomplete. They're supposed to include a version of Graham Nelson's Inform programming language for text adventures, together with some games written in that language, but the relev...

Hi Lurkio, are there any plans to add further adventures to this list ? It would be great if all the great text adventures (with or without graphics) could be added here. For additions, Robico, Epic Magus games spring to mind. The thing is, the way I would “add” adventures to the list was by painst...

The other game I'm really keen to find was more of an educational thing about firework safety. I particularly remember a section in which the player could set out fireworks on a map...

Re: Tombs Of Arkenstone: needs cracking

No sneaky data hidden (no I don't know how!) in the unreadable tracks? Cracking this is going to require a more sophisticated extraction of the raw disc data, and perhaps a format other than SSD could be used which is capable of representing copy protected discs? Hah! I'll guarantee that there are ...

My 2p, but with the rise of GOTEKs, it probably is worth have a non-SWRAM version that works on a "B", even if it is only DFS 0.9 at least until there is a version that works on other configs. Good point. I was overlooking Goteks, probably because I've never used one myself. (Shame on me!) I presum...
