I'm probably reinventing the wheel here but here's a few "desktop wallpapers" to load into your NuLA and/or Sarah Walker's B-Em with NULA support :) http://phils-place.co.uk/transfers/nula_demo_pm.zip Some people may have seen the Flammaron engraving before but not the reworked version on the .dsd i...

Can we list these as ABUG from now on ... took me ages to find this ... not in new or active posts ... searching virtual no hits ... searching acorn 3,000 hits ... search abug finds old abugs named "properly"

Re: Atom Emulator

Not yet Kees

We need screenshots for everything added since it was last updated although as a stop gap we could probably use a generic "no_screenshot_available" image until we do them. If you remember we really compressed the images in b64 and added them to the JavaScript archive

Re: Atom Emulator

Ah, I actually talked about doing just this in the Virtual ABug meeting a week last Saturday. It's something I've wanted to see for a long time i.e. an equivalent of the Complete BBC Games Archive site available on the AcornAtom.co.uk domain (which I own). As I mentioned above I released my browser...

Re: Atom Emulator

This is the browser based Atom emulator I wrote about 2008 About 4 years ago or so Kees Van Oss updated it to add MMC support and about 3 years ago Dave (Hoglet) started producing the MMC archive as a JavaScript array and I added a graphical front end with images produced by Kees and myself so it lo...

Re: Clwyd Technics Colour Palette enhancer

I couldn't get the Z-100 disks to read with my Kryoflux but trawling through some of my SSD transfers I managed to find versions of the Z-100 software that I had transferred to a BBC back in the day I've reorganised the palette archive to reflect this :) Also, this is the routine for the ISA bus dri...

Re: Clwyd Technics Colour Palette enhancer

From what I remember the RGB values are "latched" in by some circuitry which was additional to the RAM in the "expander" you toggled a bit on the user port to move it from a temporary storage to the RAM ... I'll take a look :) That tallies with what I worked out from the code and wrote up at: http:...

I just found an older version of the palette demo software ... this version has the source code for the palette software as opposed to a *LOADED binary version JGH you might find this useful if you spot this :) I've put it on the same disc as the ROMRIP util http://econet.network/bbc/?disc=ROMRIP.SS...

Re: Clwyd Technics Colour Palette enhancer

I was going to dump the Colour ROM last night but hit a snag. I can't remember how to save an image of a ROM. I'm sure I've seen a small BASIC program to type in, even without a datacentre plugged in to save onto floppy, but I'm blown if I can find it. I even searched StarDot forums but didn't find...

Sorry folks I don't look at stardot as often as I should I worked for Clwyd Technics and wrote the software for the Colour Palette enhancer in 1982 - I think - less than a year after the Beeb was introduced Someone was looking for an advert for it so here's one ... http://econet.network/bbc/peripher...

**Sorry Phil, can't remember if you've been to one of the Cambridge ones before, so would already know this..... Yes, many times. In fact Jason's very kindly let me leave the "Yellow Peril" locked in on the forecourt But yes I agree; this is a great differentiation between "punter" and "attendee" :)

Hi Here's a 6800 emulator I wrote in Javascript :) http://phils-place.co.uk/demos/et3400/ Hit the keys [D/Do] 0 0 0 0 to run the sample program :) I have lots of 6809 code which I've tested with TASM for the ET3400 ROMs and some example programs I've also so written a 6847 emulator in JavaScript for...
