Re: Acorn World and ABUG meetup, Cambridge 20-22nd September 2019

**Sorry Phil, can't remember if you've been to one of the Cambridge ones before, so would already know this..... Yes, many times. In fact Jason's very kindly let me leave the "Yellow Peril" locked in on the forecourt But yes I agree; this is a great differentiation between "punter" and "attendee" :)

Re: 6809 page 1 and page 2 invalid instructions

Hi Here's a 6800 emulator I wrote in Javascript :) http://phils-place.co.uk/demos/et3400/ Hit the keys [D/Do] 0 0 0 0 to run the sample program :) I have lots of 6809 code which I've tested with TASM for the ET3400 ROMs and some example programs I've also so written a 6847 emulator in JavaScript for...

Re: Acorn Atom Books

Thanks for the PM Dave ... Having looked at a proper scan of TAAMB, it seems I have quite a few images to re-insert :) As listed in the credits at the end I used ATOMLIST.EXE running in DOSBOX to create and add the PROGRAM listings. I'll add links at the end of each listing to download a .BAS/.TXT f...

I found this video by accident and thought I'd look on stardot to see if anyone else knew about it Like BigEd I also wanted to shout at the screen when the Pi was described as a Unix machine. I also immediately thought of all the "Bare Metal" Pi stuff we've done and thought of people like Hoglet whe...

For those not quite sure what I mean the above image is what got me thinking about the idea

The graphics look great and I thought "Hmm ... the Atom could almost do this ... wouldn't it be great if ... wait a minute! Atom NULA!"

Video NULA (sort of!) for the Atom / other 6847 machines

OK, so the Beeb has the NULA but it's not immediately obvious what, similar things, could be done on a 6847's somewhat basic display ... unless ... For those who don't know (and I know this is slightly sacrilegious) the Sinclair Spectrum has a clever way of generating 256x192 (Atom CLEAR 4) resoluti...

This should possibly be a separate thread and, thanks to old age I've probably asked elsewhere, but is NULA emulation supported on BeebEm, BEm or jsbeeb at all so we can appriciate Tricky's game in all its glory? :)

I see this is now page 39 ... is there a list of the "Really Missing" titles now, as opposed to the list on page 1 (or is the list on page 1 always current?)

Ian was getting the Arm Assembler manuals for it co-signed (Sophie Wilson had already signed it)

Hi Kees ... yes this is the conclusion we came to.

We got to the point of logging in, *DIR, *CAT, LOAD, SAVE, *LOAD and executing *VIEW and *REMOTE but then getting not listening errors

If only we knew someone who was good at disassembling and reprogramming 6502 code :-P
