Re: Phoebe PCB

I'll add to that - the CCH actually began as a private collection. They have to keep stuff in storage because exhibition space is limited (in other words, they cannot have it all out all of the time). CCH is active in promoting the use of old technology. One event I could mention (that I was not in...

Re: Phoebe PCB

But then they just keep most of it locked away in some store room somewhere? Also not quite access for all as they are restricted to the locality as well. I'd love to go to Bovington tank museum but considering it's at complete other end of the country, it just not practical unless you made a holida...

Re: Phoebe PCB

I stand by my comments, I think enthusiasts with our websites, clubs, blogs, fanzines etc. do these things far better. I don't see the point in them.

Shame no one has mentioned Space Shuttle. A complete Space Shuttle Simulator and you can flick all 6 switches for various activities. Amazing game, super impressive. He even modelled double sonic boom.

Re: Stunt Car Racer for BBC Master

I was a veteran of the speccy version which used a separate key for accelerate and another key for boost. I'm sure on the joystick this was up for forward, and fire for the boost. I recently tried the amiga version with the auto boost, and I was arl ower the shop. Didn't like it those controls!

Re: Should i get an A3000 or a RISCPC ?

If it's for games, I think an A3010 is better. Slightly faster, joystick ports, and most of the games work nicely on ro3.1. It was the gamers Acorn :D
