Is the EEPizza board bigger (core wise) than the Godil Dave ? Yes: - the GODIL 250 uses the Xilinx XC3S250E (5,508 logic cells, 24KB Block RAM) - the GODIL 500 uses the Xilinx XC3S500E (10,476 logic cells, 40KB Block RAM) - the EEPizza board uses the Xilinx XC6SLX9 (9,152 logic cells, 64KB Block RA...

Hi Guys, I've been working on the ICE Z80 over the last couple of days, using new level shifter and the eepizza LX9 FPGA board. The latest work is in the dev branch (and comes up as version 0.80) ICE-T80 In-Circuit Emulator version 0.80 Compiled at 18:01:10 on Oct 15 2019 4 watches/breakpoints imple...

Might try the Hoglet’s RGB to HDMI board but it seems all parts are not available - am unsure of where you would get the RGBtoHDMI hat... It does not look like its an off the shelf item - are there any tutorials for this setup? It's currently only available as a "build it yourself" project. I have ...

Can you zip and upload an example capture file?

Roland, I have also had a problem very like this before - on the new Electron AP5. In that design there is a 4-bit counter, and the symptom was every so often the counter would seem to increment by two rather than by one. And just like you are seeing Roland, as soon as you apply a scope probe to the...

Re: Open Logic Sniffer client not working?

I think you need to be running OpenJDK version 8:

You could try installing it with:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk
I'm not sure how Linux Mint deals with multiple versions.

Can you post the Java stack trace.

What version of Java were you using on each of the systems?

Hi Roland, Next steps will be to assign the pins of the CPLD and route the board :) CPLDs can be less flexible on pin assignment that FPGAs. Occasionally pathological cases can arise where a particular pinout cannot be achieved (e.g. due to overallocation of product terms in a particular area). You ...

A couple of thoughts.... The following Atom OS disassembly will be useful to you: http://www.acornatom.nl/atom_handleidingen/splitatom/f000.txt The reset sequence starts at #FF3F. 1024MAK has indicated that my Atom already has the full 12k of onboard RAM using the 2114L chips, so I guess I could go with option 2 and I would still get the same amount of RAM (ie I assume the 8k Video RAM on your board is equivalent to 8k of video RAM that can be provided by the 2114Ls)? Others could be added in the future. The 6800 :) The 6800 has a very similar pinout to the 6502, so it would be pretty easy to knock out an adapter board.
