Yes I dropped Facebook like a hot potato a little while back and my general connectivity to social media tends to be a bit sporadic... Noice!! :D I'm trying to compose a tune for my latest demo on the Electron. Maybe this will help me to get some inspiration! Hope it helps! Your demoz are awesome, btw. I especially like #3. Keep up that work; we need more of that on the Electron! Hi Stuart, just a little note: Nice to hear from yo...

NOIZE!

Here's a bit of fun for you Elk users; it's a tone-generator/noise proggy that I've made with a few options (my fav is 'freestyle' mode 99))

It may well work on Beebs too, it does work in emulator but is a bit wobbly. I recommend a real live Electron.

Have fun :)

new PD game up on AET

hey all,

Just to let you know that there is a new PD game available for download on AET in the British IBM series.

As with everything I bung out there, if you want it on a free physical 3.5" floppy, give me a shout <3

Re: Seeking repair help!

Stuart I think I have an AMX mouse somewhere, but it's likely in storage :( However, the principles are not too hard to understand. There are two signals for left / right, and two signals for up/down. I don't know what AMX called these signals, so I will call them X1, X2, Y1 and Y2. So when you mov...

Re: Seeking repair help!

Ah no, the AMX mouse is the old style mouse from the 80's that plugs straight into the User Port. I bought the smallymouse usb adapter as a backup after the AMX mouse started to play up the latest time, so i dont think that has affected the functionality of the User Port itself. I don't have another...

Seeking repair help! *Solved*

Well met all, My AMX mouse that I use every day for artwork on the Electron has packed up! Over the years, I had to open it up and fiddle diddle to get it working again (usually the wiring where it enters the mouse itself has broken) but this time I can't sort it. The mouse just runs to the right of...

Re: Broken New AP5 Fixed & Electron Mouse testing

SmallyMouse2 doesn't require a PS/2 compatible mouse - it has real USB support. Any mouse should work, even wireless ones. The only hardware reason SmallyMouse wouldn't work with something (assuming the connections are correct) is power - USB requires 5V. The interface to the computer is basically ...

Just the Userport and UPURS ports left to try. I also have a Smally mouse that I have never tested so I am going to try them both at the same time (what could possibly go wrong!). Any one tried the Electron + AP5 + Smally Mouse Combo. If so what software with mouse support will probably work? Edit:...

Hey all, I just wanted to let you know about a 'tune' I've knocked up using sounds from my Elk, a DR-55 drum machine and some lines of text I've read from a 1983 sales leaflet from Acorn Computers Ltd for the Electron.
