Re: "Minus One" - 3 x cartridge Electron expansion

I've seen a connector on eBay that's suitable for a Minus One pcb,: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Acorn-Electron-card-edge-connector-48-way-2x24-with-keyway-0-1-pitch/402542272306?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 That one is a regular - keeps popping up - just when you ne...

How would you send a text message to the Space station from a BBC Micro.
You wouldn't use a BBC (!) when you have an Electron with WiFi

Hi, I am looking for 2 or 3 WD1772 Floppy Disc Controller ICs for an A3000 and an A540. Does anyone have any stock, I can only find suppliers in China online and would prefer to get from a known good source if any one has a few they could spare? Dave, You're a bit far for me to collect. Curious as to rough costs for shipping of the scopes. Stephen Sorry, I should have marked the Yokogawa as sold (now done). The Philips PM3055 50Mhz 'scope is under offer, however, when I did a pre shipping test it had died with a dead power supply and I'm c...

Re: B+ DFS & ADFS versions for PAGE E00

Just a thought . . . ACP produced both a DFS and ADFS E00 for the Electron. DFS was as JGH described above e.g. RAM was overlaid at the top of the 16K block for its workspace, however, ADFS E00 used a second 16K bank within an ABR cartridge. I believe both could be "PLDed" e.g. use a PLD t...

Any news on the scope? I found a Service Manual for it, as last. I'm still trying to find any sign of where failure is, however, it's been reported that the caps can sometimes be an issue. So I've decided to re-cap the Power Supply board - which is going to take a while - there's a few of them! Dav...

Is there a Gotek firmware for the Yokogawa? Sorry, absolutely no idea on that one. IIRC it's a non standard fitting e.g. it doesn't have a dedicated front panel . . .
