Two things...
It’s not a very good “screen protector” if it can’t even keep mould out...!
I’m disappointed that the big white power button does not light up...

It's the glue that goes mouldy! But you knew that . . .

Did you know that there's a successor to this? Search for the AP6 and then details about the ROM Utilities.

Two thing I miss from my Yokogawa 'scope: Remembering settings over a power-cycle - and the Trigger Marker Not going off screen when the X time base is expanded.

Once you’ve managed separate the two pieces, it’s a case of cleaning up and then re gluing them together. I’ve one waiting for me to do, from my Rarther Large , I think, HP68000 (?)

Edit: I wan’t thinking of using the Dremel on the screen, just the outer casing.

I think it’s on with the safety gear and out with the Dremel! After doing the Yoga to steady the hands - maybe have someone with you too!

Re: Baildon Electronics IDE Interfaces - Replication

The program isn't mine - it comes from here . It's from his post on reading secured PALs. Ah! Thanks Rob . . . I built the adapter to read the PAL as an EPROM and then used the PA software to analyse the bin/rom file. The software takes the binary "EPROM" dump and generates a text file in CUPL form...

Re: EEPROM - the Holy Grail of Sideways Rom?

I'm quite surprised nobody has flinched at the fact the outputs from the LS139 on my cart are effectively reversed compared to the schematic. Might be worth making a note somewhere on the cart diagram to confirm which IC socket is enabled by which pin and use accordingly? I'll check the board I hav...

Update (at last) . . . I've now been working on the recovery of the 2 PLDs, on and off, for the last week (Mrs H is away for 2 weeks in November :D  ) and, apart from the lost file shenanigans I seem to be making progress. Although RobC recovered the contents of IC1 (attached) I've decided to ...

Well, not exactly . . . As I'd miss remembered the first line, due to changing it for this program - yes, it's an age thing - I had to think of something else unique! Re: ADFS Deleted File Recovery - Assistance Required

If you've backed up the SD card to your Mac/PC could you just use a hex editor to find the file and reinstate it somehow? I back-up the SD card every week - Usually back-up files I've worked on locally, at the end of every day. That would have been about 5 min. after I deleted the file :? Trying Co...

I don't expect it to be any different, but it might be worth trying the latest v4.2B version of the EEPxx tools that I posted yesterday. There are some subtle differences between that and the EEP32C version, which was just a quick and dirty patch. I'll try v4.2B ASAP - it may be tomorrow, though, a...

Which cartridge PCB have you modified? Is it the one described by MartinB here ? Or another? I've done the above mod. without any issues! Would you like to try some known good boards? I could send an ABR, ARA III and one of the above linked boards. It might eliminate things. Have you tried Ken's V42...

Okay, so next question: does anyone want any/all of these cassettes? Free for postage, obviously. Dave, just make a copy of the drive files on the SD card on your PC, and drop them back on if you bugger it up :) Don't worry about copying between LUNs on the 8bit machines :D d. ADFS Deleted File Recovery - Assistance Required

I deleted a file, accidentally, by mistyping #-o It's on my BeebSCSI, so ADFS. I usually use AFM which makes you 'look' at the files you highlight (and no typing involved) but, in a rush as I'd been repurposed, again, all day :? What's the best tool? How do I find the deleted file? How do I reinstat...
