Re: BREAK+key to reset language on AP6 ROM?

The way I recommend, for this issue, is to fit an in-line power switch, close to the Electron, and simply do a power cycle after any game - Instant fix. Quicker that anything you can type!

Re: Electron Watchdog? (Soak tester)

My unit doesn't like Ctrl/Brk - it immediately fails and doesn't recover without a power cycle - This may be by design! I have been wondering how you would 'latch' a fault. I'll have to study the circuit in more details when I have the TC. Also get the 'scope on it.

So we any idea what it does, does it short anything or send anything to elk to make it carry out the soak test? It only monitors the Electron, it in no way that I can see controls or triggers the machine so I can't see it doing any harm in plugging it in and seeing what happens. I'm curious what pl...

Re: FORMAT Issue on the Electron

Are the ULAs interchangeable (they appear to be), or would I be better to swap them back? I've not had any problems using any ULAs in any issue boards - so I'm sure you're OK to leave them as-is. (the issue 2 ULA socket is a bit tricky to move, as the pins never line up easily) The ULA sockets are ...

Slogger Switched Joystick Interface - a few available.

One of the Forum members wanted a Slogger Switched Joystick Interface - so I made up 5* to get a semi decent price. * I can make more, if needed . . . I've been testing these out. They should work with the tape software that Bud supplies with their interface, as it (can) uses the same address (&FC00...

All the Electron games in my original MGC are ROMed (216 games in total). Most just occupy 1 x 16K image with some of them needing 2 x 16K. All the ROMing was kindly carried out by DavidB =D>
