Re: Apple IIe & Disk II with issues

great news!

I can recommend "adtpro" to send disk images (even a bootable image of itself) over serial or audio to the apple. Runs on windows or mac.Do you have a serial card or better, a super serial?

Re: Apple IIe & Disk II with issues

Hi, what slot is the disk controller in? Looking from the front, 7 is far right

Disk controller is usually in 6

At the prompt then try PR#6 ( assuming the controller is in 6). The drive should spin up.

Re: BBC, electron, atom, arch(?) on retropie?

Ok Pernod.

Like I said it’s the latest that compiles or is available on retropie. So it’s academic really, it’s all there is.

Daniel yes I’ll re attach!

Anyway I hope this is useful for someone

Re: BBC, electron, atom, arch(?) on retropie?

Hello it's advancemess 3.9 I've got electron loading .uef files reliably now, inc elite, planetoids and exile. The electron driver doesnt allow loading .ssd's via the -floppy switch, so it seems to load at the same speed as tape using an .uef. emulators.cfg for electron: advmess = "/opt/retropie/emu...

Re: Pi-based Co-Pro on the cheap - 100MHz 6502 for £10? (now 274MHz)

Hi, i have a Model B & the pi co pro. Works great. BBC is modded to take a 64k eeprom image. I had been successfully using Beebaid's *tubeoff or tab/break to disable the co-pro before running games. Until recently i blew a new 64k eeprom (still containing beebaid), and now beebaid no longer works! O...

Re: BBC, electron, atom, arch(?) on retropie?

I've given up on compiling mess or lr-mess as always failed I found that installing the advmame binary also gives an advmame executable in the /bin folder - and it seems to work! this isnt completely correct, but I suggest starting here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/19844/advmess-for-dummies-...

Re: IDE podules - 8 and 16 bit versions

Hello

Missed the boat by miles perhaps but as I’m hoping to acquire/ fix up an A3000 I would love an 8bit board for an A3000.

If there’s a wait list / wish list! I’d love to be on it if ok

Tia!:)

Re: Anyone remember a four colour ballpoint pen plotter?

It was a great little printer, same mech used in the Atari 1020 as well

The gears age and crack so don’t move the paper

They can be replaced with a particular part from a model helicopter... I can search it but google Atari 1020 gear model / radio control and I think you’ll find it

Cool idea daniel. Power pins are a must as some of us are reckless enough to want to tap power from inside the host computer rather than a usb psu :)

About how much current do these draw anyway?

Hi Daniel, does the VFS board basically allow me to run my beebscsi internally in my master?

if so I'd like to [pre order from next run] 1 x vfs board please. I'll check will update this post later as to the connector, thanks!
