I added the descriptions to Map quiz and Quadrangle. I don't think you have added the author details yet.

I also meant to say that like the admins here I am reluctant to mod delivered software (Bootstrap in this case) because it increases the maintenance costs significantly.

what I'm actually trying to do is report the issue to Paul Consider it reported. I will have a look. This appears to be by design Text is 14px and blockquotes are 17.5 px on my browser. Of course bootstrap is responsive, so this might change for different systems. I have been advised that tweaking ...

Re: Suggestion: Cheats, maps, tips, trainers and the like

I think something like this was discussed with respect to the bbcmicro.co.uk website. It would be nice to be able to click from there to a discussion about each game. It wasn't possible to do without plugins, and the amazing people who run the forum don't like using plugins because they have caused ...

Missing disc images?

Knight's Move and Treasure Hunt both from fast access don't have disc images, I think this is an oversight, as all other games without disc images have a note as to why.

You can find them by going to the last page once you order by latest releases.

I don't think you can currently search bbcmicro.co.uk for games that meet multiple criteria, such as all games that have the tag "Text adventure" and the tag "Graphics"
This does what you want:

Edit: Correct URL

Is there a CSV version of this? No, sorry. It was CSV originally, then I decided that html would be more flexible. I assume you have checked you can't consume html for your use case? Otherwise go for your kludge. I can change it to export either, but don't want to have to maintain something that is...

Re: Compilation

I have completed this work now. At present only admins can see any change. Compilations now need to be created, and added to games as John suggested. Eventually games will have more than one compilation added, so this will appear in the games page, and be searchable etc.

The download link is archdl.php. it does take a long time to load if changes have been made to the site because it zips everything up. The archive format could be improved to match up with the spreadsheet better.

Re: Trying to understand vi65

I've just realised, variable loading is 1 if a file is loading, and 0 if not. If we are loading it runs load.part from the display procedure, which calls savebuffer. This is set in the load procedure, and reset in the loop when the file is closed. There is still more to learn about this though becau...

Re: Trying to understand vi65

I'm confused by this. If you do :e file it ought to load a file. (Which you can do with :f) it goes to the edit routine in cmdline.asm. This does jsr file which sets the filename, then jumps to load, which is in a.asm. This calls checkname, which I think makes sure the file name isn't blank, which i...
