Please help!
If you have 4MB RAM, use ADFFS to mount the floppy images.

Download officially released games from JASPP as well, of which Nebulus is one JASPP own the rights too.

Re: Birds of War - RISC PC

Does anyone know if Birds of War works in any way on a RISC PC (assuming I have the original release for my A3010 - same discs too!)? There was a RISC PC version, but given it was released in 1994 it won't be StrongARM compatible (I have an original, but haven't imaged or tested it yet). You should...

Re: Voltmace Mouse Eliminator

Thanks, that's just the information I needed.

I can probably get by without one, thanks for the offer though. Once I have Drop Ship and Man at Arms playing correctly with a USB Joystick, that will probably be sufficient enough.

Voltmace Mouse Eliminator

Does anyone here have Voltmace Mouse Eliminator Joystick? I need to know how moving the stick affects the mouse so we can add emulation of it to either ADFFS or USBJoystick. Only a few games supported that I'm aware of, Drop Ship and Man at Arms for example, but for the sake of completeness I'd stil...

Re: EMR MIDI 4

Thanks Jon! That was unexpected! Perhaps it was the Studio 24 software that the original owner meant. I’ll see how far I’ll get with the test routines. So to actually put it to use I may need to find a copy of Studio 24 (that does not seem trivial). What were you planning to use it for? It predates...

Re: EMR MIDI 4

I don't recall there being any drivers or manual, my memory is somewhat hazy, but I think it was explicitly designed for use with Studio 24. I have one of the original development boards here as I think I coded the internal drivers for it - which I can't find, but I may be confusing it with one of t...

Re: ICS Wizzo IDEFS for A5000/A4 (+A3020/A4000...) improves CF card support!

After getting feedback from Erik that he still had issues using CF cards with the Wizzo IDEFS, I tried some different combinations. I also found that support is still limited. Sometimes it seems to work but you get broken directory errors and/or performance issues later. Its worth testing the probl...

Do you need some help with it? Yes, I could use some help. There's many ways people could help, that don't involve writing code: Providing scans of missing material or imaging floppies Donating original copies of games the project doesn't have Tidying box art and material scans Converting manual sc...

I have read that one can recreate a disk from JASPP project files. Is that true ?
Unprotected JFD floppy images can be copied to a physical floppy, protected floppies can't as there's no way to write the protection sectors.

Restoring lost causes

I was going to do a YouTube video on this game, showing the steps and time it takes to archive a title. Suffice to say, I didn't, but I did take these three screenshots of the box cover, before, mid and after restoration. This is the original, which is in a very sorry state. It's a contentious subje...

I will point out that Wolfenstein 3D is a proper boxed copy I bought on eBay so I'd expect everything to work fine. I'll try the shift-boot thing over the weekend and report back. I just found a list of Arc games supposedly available to buy, in a ReadMe on a game floppy from 1990. Quite a few of these are titles we've not mentioned before: Blood of the Mutineers (Robico) £24.95 The Plague (Robico) £24.95 3D Pool (Rainbird) £19.95 Joan of Arc (U.S. Gold) £32.95 Karma (Periscop...

I gather you're the developer of ADFFS? If so I have another somewhat related question... I tried to image my Wolf3D floppies to ADF. I am indeed said developer. There's a few there I'd like to image, CyberZone (although it might not be the final release going by the handwriting) and E-Numix in particular and Chequered Flag if it is the original 1991 release, which will need to be done with a Kryoflux as its disc protection talks directly to the 1772 via the...

The track designer is available from David O'Shea's website. That's not the same track designer. The one I have is the origin...
