Hi.

I asked the same question a couple of years ago (it felt like) ... turns out it was nearly four years:

Haven't gotten around to trying a GBS 8200 (yet) but plenty of people have.

Re: Request for help in organising/releasing source code

Ah, I see. :-? For iOS: have you got any notes/recollections of how you did this? Sounds like the answer is no. Presumably XCode on a Mac ( not that I'm an expert, but I think that's what you need?) I've got a Mac set-up so I can give things a go, but there are (hopefully) people on the forums that ...

Re: Request for help in organising/releasing source code

Hopefully MacOS, Android and iOS will follow, but as they use IDEs I'm not sure how best to incorporate the build information. These IDEs must keep this information somewhere. Do they have the equivalent of the Visual Studio "project" file? Visual Studio project files are often checked into a repos...

Re: Request for help in organising/releasing source code

Can't offer particularly relevant advice but maybe it doesn't matter too much about getting it right first time? Create a scratch project or two in GitHub and try a few things. Don't think anyone will mind and if they do :P to them. So maybe don't use any project names you'd want for the ideal repos...

Also means you don't regularly turn on your computer only to have to wait 45 mins for the new "creative edition" or somesuch to install - even though you don't want it to! Mac OS X is unfortunately the same. Sure there WILL be an easy option where I can turn it off but haven't looked for it yet. La...

I think having everything in the same database is powerful in a number of ways From my experience I'd definitely agree. One database, and then different views/skins/displays of it. So the game site has its own home page, and when you search it passes want_games flag or the appropriate genres/whatev...
