Re: IK+ on the BBC?

Yeah, that's mine.

Trying to get permission to do it properly using source code which would make it very quick to finish. If I have to continue by reverse engineering everything it may take a while if in fact it ever gets done as I don't have a lot of spare time these days.

Re: BeebSID

Most player routines on the C64 use some zero page (for indirect addressing) and it's usually data for that that's hiding in tables (offsets to starts of patterns etc) so there's a lot of data and not just code that needs changing. I'd try running them on something like 6502sim, watch the zp address...

Re: Name that Tune ?

I really wish I hadn't read this thread now ;) Do you mean after the Yankee Doodle (near enough) part? Because I know it and can't think of the name, which is now going to send me insane... *edit* I checked to see if there was a C64 version of Nutcraka, which there is (with the same music) and the C...

Re: The Savestate thread!

I just ran the graph6 file through my beeb graphics finding app (wrote it to find beeb format graphics inside files that I then remap to 2bpp Atari 800 mode) and it looks like weightlifting. There's text BANTAM, FLY, MIDDLE, HEAVY , QUALIFY and KG. A progress bar and what looks like weights and lots...

Re: Hey

Thanks all for the welcomes :) Yeah, I stumbled across retrosoftware earlier today and found the answer to one of the questions I was going to ask on here, which was what key codes are used when using the direct hardware keyboard reading method :) Some of the beeb coding stuff I actually still remem...

Re: Hey

Excellent - welcome aboard, look forward to seeing the ports - any particular titles in mind? They've basically got to be 4 colour games or 2 colour hires for the way I'm doing it because the Atari can't really do more than 4 or 5 colours in a sensible mode. First one out the door will be Lunar Jet...

Hey

Hi everyone, I'm an oldschool coder, got my start on the Beeb and since then have worked on either professionally or homebrew a good selection of 8 then 16 bit home computers, consoles, PC etc. I recently got back into the whole 8 bit coding thing and decided to have a dabble with the Atari 800. You...
