Re-posted several discs due to minor changes. Disc 060 now features a tested and amended Sideways RAM loader for Dunjunz. Discs 070, 072 and 074 feature the same amended Sideways RAM fix for the 3 Holed Out games. Lastly, Disc 078 has a small amendment to Trivial Pursuit to stop the cursor keys from...

Re: Alternative titles discs (remastered)

Here is Alternative Disc011 from 2018. AltD011.zip Painter from Micro Power looks like either an early release or a pre-release of Demon Decorator. Wall 'Em In is an alternative title for Brick 'Em In from Software For All. Monstas from Bit Twidlers was officially released as an Upgrade to Acornsoft...

Re: Holed Out RAM Version

Yes it is set in the machine code to load into banks 4 and 5. This was changed by me some years ago so that I could play it under BeebEm as that emulator doesn't seem to use banks 1,2 or 3. regards, Mick. PS Did you try the Dunjuz RAM game which also loads into banks 4 and 5 (due to the same issue w...

Holed Out RAM Version

Hi All, Please can someone kindly copy the image of Disc070 (below) onto a floppy disc and then load it into a real BBC and see what happens with Holed Out. As with the Dunjunz RAM version before... 1) Load it into a normal BBC B with no Sideways RAM and no Datacentre and see if you get the error me...

Disc119 re-posted due to including new RAM detector for Rat Race.
This one has now been tested by Lee and works on a real BBC. If no RAM then the game does not load.

regards,
Mick.

PS New RAM loaders for Dunjunz and Holed Out will be posted once they have been properly tested.

Re: 30th Anniversary BBC and Electron Collection

Disc 029 re-posted due to adding a machine code routine to Atom Smasher to detect BeebEm 4.14 and to try to fix the "screen shake" routine when you get caught that doesn't work correctly.
It works normally with B-em 2.2 and on a real BBC Micro.

Mick.

Atom Smasher from Romik

I have just taken a look at Atom Smasher from Romik. I have found that the game should have a shaking screen when you get caught and lose a life. That is the case with the uef on STH with B-em. However, under BeebEm it makes a complete mess. The version on my Disc029 had been amended to cut out the ...

Dunjunz RAM version

Hi all, I have taken another look at the Sideways RAM loader for Dunjunz on my Disc060. I have compared it to the one on STH and found several bits of code were missing. I have now re-inserted these and saved them to the DUNK file on Disc060. Although my original loader on Disc060 loaded the game pe...

Hi All,

Does anyone have any other images of ROM vased games from STL.

I have Rat Race, but believe there was at least one more game by them.

Hi All, I plan on posting all new discs here. Also, I need feedback from anyone who finds a problem with any of the games on any of my discs, so that I (or someone else) can sort a solution to it. Although the games have been play tested and checked for errors and grammar etc, there is still the pos...

Re: New version of Frogger (was: A demo of what is looking like a new Frogger for the beeb)

Hi Tricky,

Ref the latest version of Frogger...

I noticed that only the ZX:/ keys work in the new version and not the cursor keys, WASD or joystick control.
The basic code looks the same, so have you broken something in the Mchine code?

Mick.

Fantastic Tricky!

Just one thing, there seems to be several spelling errors in your instructions.

'around' , 'drops' and 'poisons' are the ones I think need changing.

again, great work.

Any chance of being able to press BREAK to exit.
I believe moving code down and over &258 causes the problem.

Also I hope you can include at least a "Game Over"
