Re: ISMEC Monitor question...

A very awkward solution. I was looking for something a little more cleaner and obvious, but your effort is very much appreciated. Thank you :-) In theory you could put the breakpoint at &28B7, change your bytes in ISMEC and then let it run again. But the game didn't seem to like running under eithe...

Re: ISMEC Monitor question...

Will have to come back to this - kids driving me up the wall - no peace & quiet around here. This almost sort of works, but I need that P&Q to figure out the last bits LOAD "BLAGGER" Change line 130 to 130*LO. BLAG1 RUN This will load the MODE 7 graphics, and *LOAD the next part at 3000 (instead of...

Re: ISMEC Monitor question...

I can work through this with you (I will be interested to see what ISMEC can do.) So where are you loading Blagger from, and how? Real BBC B, loading from a tape or disc? Or trying in an emulator first with a SSD (disc image) file? Thanks. I'm loading the game using my MMC card and then pressing CT...

Yeah - that's where I was going to end up. I'm just not too sure what break points to use :-( I thought it would restart the game. From the point I 'froze' the game.

ISMEC Monitor question...

Here's a question for you... I now have the ISMEC ROM chip in my BBC and it's working fine. I load in BLAGGER by Alligata Software, and then I press CTRL+BREAK to fire up ISMEC. I can see the game in RAM and change values, but I would like to know how to return back to the game once I have changed s...

Anyone, please?

Type-ins...

Does anyone know if there is a site with a load of BBC Micro type-ins that have already been typed in? Things from old magazines such as INPUT, Micro User or books etc. Wondered if anyone has a load if them on .SSD files :-)

Re: The Savestate thread!

This topic is right up my street. Has anyone here ever thought about building a BBC Game Ending website? It would be great to catalogue the endings of these fine games. I did the same for the Commodore 64 (www.c64endings.co.uk) :-)

Looking forward to seeing the games :-)

I wondered if it was worth having a thread called 'up and coming games' so that we could all keep an eye out for what's coming and offer support and encouragement :-)

Re: Any new games being released?

Thanks for the links. In answer to your questions: - there's nothing wrong with old games, - no, I haven't played all of them, but I am aware of most of them and have a large catalogue. - I already have coding knowledge, but most of my time and effort is dedicated to the C64. My initial reaction was...

Any new games being released?

As I'm sure you've noticed from my username, I'm a c64 freak, but now and again I love to fire up my lovely new BBCmicro. Anyway - the c64 is going through exciting times with some cool game releases, and I was wondering if there are any new BBCmicro games out or coming soon?
