Re: BeebSID

After some googling on the tinternet I found out that it will be difficult to get
some lowcost SID6580/1 chips.
They go for GBR 21 to more.
"Sounds" like to be only for the lucky one's. Unless you happen to have a broken

But the project "sounds" great.

Hi,

Could it be possible to boot the 512 from a mmc card and use
the other 512 software ( dos-operating files, GEM, etc. ) ?

frans

Probably the difficulty is due to the fact that the 512 doesn't supporting (a)dfs

Re: M128

When those links are East (rom mode), the sockets support 32k roms so if you have the capability you can blow two 16k images into a single 32k device and thus leave the other socket empty giving two banks of ram free for Elite. The other alternative is of course to use rom images and *SRLOAD them i...

I don't think so; check Ebay, it's from a seller with more stuff.

the 470pF Capacitor mod converts the monochrome output to a colour output.
check "Beebmaster"

M128 hooked up to a LCD (VGA)screen

Howdy, I recently managed to get my M128 connecting to a LCD screen with vga input. Bought on E-bay a "Composite to VGA video signal converter High resolution Box". Switching between my pc and M128 is simply pushing a button. :) The box cost GBP 38,00 ; so it isn't too expensive. Together with the 4...

Shaky screen

Howdy,
After introducing myself I wonder if there are some technical members over here
who can help me solving a screen issue.
The upper side of the screen is shaky; is there a solution to solve this problem.
This occurs on my tv-screen and monitor screen.
