Wow i’ve only just seen this.
Was this advertised on facebook?
I’ll try and pop by for a look and chat as I live in Bristol about 10 minutes away.
I couldn't see a Facebook event for it, so I just created one in the Acorn group.

Hopefully see you there :-)

Great, look forward to seeing you :-)

I've also just had a call from someone saying they are bringing along some equipment that they don't think anyone will have seen before. Mysterious!

Re: BBC Micro Lives at ROUGOL / Mon 17th Feb 2020

Looks like we will have a couple of Masters along, with MMFS, Gotek, BeebSCSI, VideoNuLA and PiTubeDirect.

Plus we will have BeebEm on Windows, B-Em on Linux, and of course BeebIt on RISC OS!

So there should be plenty of ways to play your favourite game :-)

Shame you can't make it Kieran, but hopefully others will chip in instead.

Judging by your thread about Archimedes development, you'll soon have your own ROUGOL slot anyway :-)

I wanted to ask this over at the ROOL forum, but I've given up trying to log-in over there! The "trick" to logging in to the ROOL forum is to always go to the top level page https://www.riscosopen.org/ and click on Log In from there, before then visiting the forum pages. At least it's the Beeb version of Elite.
And they used the Beeb font for the "ELITE 1984" caption, so someone who did the design of that stamp knew what they were doing :-)

Re: ABUG SOUTH 24 to 26 January 2020 (Hampshire) BOOKING THREAD

At the end of the last ABUG, there were a considerable number of snacks left over. I had indicated at the time that I would keep these and bring them to the next ABUG. For various reasons, I now realise that is likely to prove impractical. You've eaten them all? I've still got the pack of sug...

Re: ABUG SOUTH 24 to 26 January 2020 (Hampshire) BOOKING THREAD

It was only a couple of years ago that there were lots of requests on here for some ABUGs in the south because they were all up north!

As JudgeBeeb said, it just needs someone to find a venue and organise it. (personal request, try to make it near a station!)

Old EPROM programmers/testers

I've been sent an email about some old EPROM programmers/testers that someone is bringing along to the London Show for the charity stand. As this looks like quite niche stuff I thought I'd mention it here. If anyone wants it who can't make it to the show, we (well, Flibble!) could grab it and bring ...
