Hi, Tricky Been some time since I posted on here. I have been following you work over the years on here and retro software. I must say this version of frogger is fantastic and so slick! Retro Software Loading Screen

HI All,

Im not sure if I am posting in the correct place.

I always liked the Acornsoft Mode 7 loading screen.
A few years ago I seem to recall there was a discussion and somebody created one changing the Acornsoft logo to Retro Software.
Is this still available for download?

Re: Hardware Scrolling In Mode 2

Hi, The programs below work fine on a standard BBC MICRO. But does not work on either B-Em Ver2.0A or BeebEm >MODE 2 >VDU 19,0,4;0; >?&FE00=3:?&FE01=39 My program below only runs on a real BBC Micro too. Produces a very smooth slower Horizontal scroll in mode 2. Am I missing something? 10 MODE 2 20 ...

MODE 1 Pallet Switching

Hi, Hope everybody on the Forum is keeping well. I am currently experimenting with pallet switching in mode 1. I have achieved this to a certain degree. I.e. Hardware Scrolling In Mode 2

In Mode 2 each byte is made up of 2 pixels. When hardware scrolling horizontally you are moving 2 pixels (1 Character) every screen refresh. Is it possible in hardware scrolling to horizontally scroll 1 pixel at a time? (1/2 Character) every screen refresh. To basically give a slower smother scroll....
