Yes RN is room number. The second part is checking the location of object 43 is room number 102.
And now I can't replicate this. Line 160 takes precedence when you enter the room holding the object, so it doesn't need to check for you dropping the item in line 1230. No action needed!

Line:

But 30000 does not exist. Suggest 3400.

But in January 1987 he says
Robico's BLAZING STAR should be bulging from a few stockings. If you haven't yet got it I really must recommend it. If you have seen either GHOST TOWN or PONY EXPRESS, BLAZING STAR is in that vein but ten times better.

It was not a labour of love! Also, it's probably about 50% typed-in and 50% corrected from poor OCRd text. I think I can safely say that all my typing will prove to be correct and all of the errors were ones I missed proof-reading the OCR

The Vespozian Affair

From the Computer & Video Games Year Book 1984. I typed it in and the problem is that now I've no desire to actually play it - it's as if the act of inputting it has drained me of all enthusiasm! It'd therefore be great if anyone would like to play it through to the end and correct any errors. Oh, a...

Yes it is, and yes it does. I used Dorothy Millard's solution, with the exception that dropping the lamp very near the end got me killed in the dark.

CASA has 329 games listed for the BBC/Electron, of which only 166 have not got solutions. That means that 49.5% of all Text Adventures known about for the Beeb/Elk have been solved by somebody :-) Leaving 50.5% unsolved or unsolvable? Sounds like a challenge! Update: There are currently 476 games l...

I've been putting together a PDF of the book as I've gone though each game. It's not a complete reproduction (I've left out the listings and the glossary) but everything else is there and is searchable. It also contains maps and solutions for each game. Please will you consider submitting the maps ...

I've never played any of these, but Cube of Zoth is supposed to be a good one, as is Oxbridge by Tynesoft. Quest for the Holy Grail by Epic is missing a solution, which surprises me as it was very popular. Sticky Fingers has an interesting sounding storyline.
