copy of the frog on ebay again it's the original! bought for £25, as someone bid in last second and bumped it up from £3 :roll: :x got it from the Acorn Preservation Team MIA money pot, now trying to top that back up again :wink: so it ain't MIA no more, after sideB worked fine. why a collector won...

when they tried 5G for 5mins, did the birds not all die & fall out the sky?? sure I read the gHz is too close to microwave ovens, hence fried birds brains inside to out :evil: ADSL starts slower (20/2) at exchange & can travel 11,000 meters, fibre (80/20) can only travel 1,000 meters (IF on .9 coppe...

found a ABR disc, & had file U: unlock/lock/romload , so used BeebEm414 to make a .UEF 'tape' don't use FreeUEF as that only works with 30% of .UEF files, so use : http://www.8bitkick.cc/playuef.html and have laptop volume at 20-30% worth a go..... :? /\ I had it working, so must be DFS as ADFS does not exist in any of my Beebs / elks :D

If I mind rightly, I wrote them all with UPURS, worked a treat from Jon's site (DFS / ADFS explorer author)

your plus1 is fried.... somewhere :(

there must of been a loose connection, or you moved the elk /plus1 when it was doing something :|

my old rubbish Plus3 did that also, I had to rename files <3 chars, then it worked :lol:

Copy file from card to PC in a different folder, or rename the file BeebORI, so you know that worked once upon a time.

or try another card, it might of got ill :-&

As using printer port, you need a 5v mod, check the card reader is still getting 4 to 5v (if you have a multi meter)

try reading the SD card back on PC, see if BEEB.MMB file is ok, or just re format SD , put file back on it.

Chk again, if same, check wiring or MMFS Rom image....

take off Plus1, then try loading a tape file, if ok, then elk is good.

try cleaning the elk gold fingers with a ink rubber then cleaner (WD40 / tesco 100% vodka!) & then plug plus1 in/out x20
turn on, & try again, might fix!
