Re: Electron composite poor quality

if you have a issue 2 or 4 PCB, then the brightness is not as bright as a beeb (so pump up with TV remote).

If a issue 6 brightness is already as good as beeb

never tried RGB to HDMI, so don't know if it adjusts brightness itself??

/\ works in my two, now that they are back to 'original' You may have to do the Date set thing first, then have to go into Basic first, then into SkyWriter. It does ask to go into Basic first if you don't See pics here near start of this thread, to show what you should get : https://stardot.org.uk/f...

Re: Electron Joysticks (and Creeping Madness...)

Try cleaning both electron gold finger's on expansion port, spray with contact cleaner , then insert plus1 on/off a few times to also clear plus1 tarnished connector.

Do also with joystick port on back of plus1 & joystick plug...

worth a try, I never use joysticks, am a keys man 8)

Re: Electron loading volume

just depends on the tape player. Try playing a normal music tape & alignment the head with a small screwdriver to get highest tone output, this fixed one of my players to play much more. I also have Twin Kingdom Valley elk version, tried to UEF it a while ago, but last 10 blocks have gone silent :cr...
