I have a few, have to go into Disk (yes it's American of Disc!!) Manager in windows, then it shows as something non NTFS/FAT.

Re: Game software protection list ( Kevin Edwards )

I'm not really sure how that would work, since the CIAJ discs usually (not always! - I think Starquake was loaded by the cheat) let the original loader do the "heavy lifting", therefore the original file would need to do the original work... if the unprotected game had the original filename, then t...

Re: E00 DFS for 8271 / 1770 controllers

I have this :
acpE00 DFSram.rom
rom image
(12.12 KiB) Downloaded 1 time
it's got "Rob Northen" on end, and "DFS1.00(C)1986 ACP LTD" at start
acpE00.png
scrn
now I did try this on a actual beeb, but can't mind if it was 1770 or 8271 :?
it worked a little, but then ended up like Solidisk giving Disc Errs, which there was not! :x

Re: Advice needed on creating a UEF file from a tape

hi Paul, I always use a Sony HiFi Walkman with 2xAA new battery's. This way it eliminates bad quality mono tape decks where the heads are like sandpaper after 2hr use. Check heads after each side of a tape, and clean if necessary. Side A & B are rarely the same volume, so levels changed with every t...
