Re: Vine Micros Master OS Overlay board

Hi Kazzie, Well......after a bit of messing around with homemade ROMs I discovered that the Vine board only takes 32k ROMs. EDIT—It does take 16k ROMs too, I had a couple of duffers throwing me off a bit I connected the board flylead as you suggested, and it worked ok....thanks While I was looking i...

Vine Micros Master OS Overlay board

Hi folks, I picked one of these boards from EBay for £1.05. It is in good condition and I have the instruction sheet. Unfortunately the instructions don’t mention another connection to a nearby IC...see photo. Can anyone tell me where this goes. I have tried installing the board and inserting a rom ...

MMFS - Using the Master 128 Printer Port I see that there is a version on MMFS for the masters printer port in the P directory of the 1.44 release. I have done the bbc b version successfully, modifying the main board as directed, and it works a treat. Are there any instructions available for the al...

Hi there, I’m afraid you lost me at, serial terminal, I don’t have one. I was hoping for a more straightforward device that I could plug in and add and remove parts of the megarom with the normal internal commands like *RSAVE etc. I expect I would need some software to manipulate the megarom image o...

Re: MegaRom 3.5

Hi Chris,

This looks great, how is it programmed ? , it mentions firmware in you post, do you just insert the board and call it as you would a normal eprom, ie *view etc and be presented with an interface or similar?

Yip great idea, count me in .....I’m in airdrie.

An initial meet up in a curry house/pub in Glasgow/Edinburgh would be a great first step, I’m sure there will be a vast array of experience sitting round a table, and lots to talk about.

Re: MMFS Development and Support

Hi Ray,

I tried your suggestions above, and all works ok

There isn’t a ZMMFS for the electron printer port installation unfortunately, would have been handy.

Do you know where can I get a printer connector for the elk?...to tidy things up a bit.

Thanks.
