Re: MkImg and UnImg by JGH

On Windows as well? This info is read from INF files, right? How do I add the attributes then? Doh! I've read-read that after a cuppa. ;) Yes, on a non-metadata host system it will read metadata from a .inf file, so just ensure the matching .inf file has an attributes field, eg: Hello FFFF1900 FFFF...

Re: MkImg and UnImg by JGH

Question about creating ADFS images with MkImg.exe by JGH. Maybe even Jonathan will see this :D How do I set the access attributes (LWR) of individual files that I add to a new ADFS image? Set them on the source files. The attributes (and load address, exec address, file name) is that of the source...

Re: Unnamed Elk/Beeb robot game

Progress update.
In theory I could create 16x16 rooms. These are some test rooms.
Enemies are now in, but can't harm you yet.
Animation is still smooth. Player (robot) at 50fps.

Cool! Are you good for the 9.30pm - 10pm slot?
Is there a shorter slot (max 15m) available at the beginning of the evening?

Re: Elementum - new Elk/Beeb platformer

Elementum v1.00 is now released: https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=20872 Just played it for the first time - AAAAAAAAAAGH! Got as far as level 3. It's very reminiscent of Tynesoft's Mouse Trap (http://bbcmicro.co.uk/game.php?id=641), in that it may make me cry in frustration (I was...

This is an impression of 6 such screens stitched together: wor...

I did chuckle remembering all the write-ups back in the day saying how Exile uses every last byte of memory, and then finding 1.5k free on the Elk version, but for the BBC versions, quite true !
Does anybody know if there is any functional difference between the Elk and Beeb versions?

Knight Lore

Has anyone ever attempted to get Knight Lore working on the Acorn Electron?
Can the source code (original or disassembled) be found somewhere?
