Sadly it doesn't appear to work. I haven't got a clue about servicing Spectrums. I did checkout the PSU first and the regulator in the machine is giving correct readings. What's the plug look like? if its a Din, then probably a Dragon. if a 9-pin D then no. Looks too modern to be a Dragon controller

Not sure what I'll be bringing along. My Model A/B has a poorly tape interface, so that's a must. Hopefully I'll have my robot arm working with I2C4U.

I'll head down in the afternoon. not sure what time i'll get there on the friday.

Re: RGB to SCART cable problem

What Mark said. I made one based on the instructions on MDFS.net and on my nice 32” Sony the picture kept blanking (like yours, but without the picture jumping) and resetting to 16:9 I disabled the auto switching which solved the aspect issue but couldn’t fix the blank. I ended up using a cheap old ...

Re: BeebEm Mac - Info

Hello. Just an update. As you know MacOS Catalina is in Beta, and will be released in September. With this release, Apple are dropping support for 32-bit applications. BeebEm Mac uses the Carbon API to run. This was deprecated in 2012, and as such, Apple never created a 64-bit version of Carbon. Thi...

The museum is next to one of them shop parks you get on the outskirts of towns, not really a browsing place, you can head towards the Grafton centre shopping centre, which is okayish. But carry on to the town centre and (I think) that was voted the best place to shop in the UK recently. The centre ...
