Re: SpectROM - Speccy emulator for the Pi co-pro
Yes i have got other roms to work like pascal and logo. This is the cartridge i use: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/1PUAAOSw72VdinoM/s-l400.jpg Usually i just concatenate the rom file until i got the size of the eprom in this case 64k. But the specrom is not a normal size rom is 5.2k so i can't get ...

Re: SpectROM - Speccy emulator for the Pi co-pro
After looking at the emulator readme and seeing one can burn the rom into an eprom in place of loading into ram decided to try it :D. So extracted the sprom file from the .ssd and burned to a 27C512 eeprom placed on a bbc master rom cart but when i do *ROMS no luck, the rom don't show up. The rom is...

Re: issues softloading riscos 5 on riscpc
Great i was missing the HardDisc4 now works fine, and i see theres all kind of problems using it.
But at least allowed me to confirm that ADFFS works on Riscos 5 and not on riscos 4.
Does riscos 6.1 is any good ?.
Also i read that to use 128mb simms on the riscpc you need riscos 4.2 at least ?

Re: StrongARM CPU refurbish
Found out that the easy way to get the caps out is use pliers hold the cap and then twist the cap this will rip the plastic part and the top.
Then use the solder wick to remove the legs.

Re: Installing SmallyMouse2 internally onto an A3000
I super easy grab +5 from the cap "yellow wire" on the pictures.
The rest of the pins follow the pinout in the schematic, the smallymouse have etched on the pcb what the pins are.
Just connect the same pins following the text on the smally mouse and the schematic.

Works like charm :D, lucky the Acorn engineers got that internal alt-mouse port, it could be interesting to know why the do so. https://i.ibb.co/hsDtBBN/IMG-20200611-WA0064.jpg https://i.ibb.co/KDtKZTt/IMG-20200611-WA0068.jpg https://i.ibb.co/rcxxDQx/IMG-20200611-WA0070.jpg https://i.ibb.co/CKC4cVQ/...

Installing SmallyMouse2 internally onto an A3000
Hi got an smallymouse2 from ebay into an external case, but plugin it on the acorn a3000 is not good the connector don't seem to fit correctly all the way and moving it will get it unplug easy. I was thinking it could be cool to install it internally inside the A3000, i see there's an "alt mous...

Re: Guide to running RobC's Doom implementation on Master/PiTubeDirect with SD card interface
burned the eprom image of the custom MMFS rom, its much much easier to run doom now. Also using this shematic: https://i.ibb.co/KzbXYGn/img666-dual-switchable-chips.jpg Is easy to add a switch on the back to choose from MMC or MMFS and if you left the DPDT in the middle you disable both ideal to loa...
