Re: A resurfaced Beeb user :-)

Hi Grant, I hope you are well. I have been trying to access your various projects on the hostei.com site, but getting "I'm sleeping" errors - as it needs to be woken by the owner. I am having a go at building your FPGA 6502, but now cannot get to the code. - I'm getting some Errors though : (10500):...

Re: audio software

I had a quick scan thru the software on the site, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I am aware of 2 pieces of software, one called envelope generator, another called music editor (by system software?) These may (or may not) be what I'm looking for, which is some way of creating bbc based mu...

Re: BBC BASIC for SDL 2.0 version 1.04a released

Hi Richard, If you upload the "signed" version I'm happy to go round the loop again to see if the AVG dabase accepts it now. Although as I still had the original zip file in my download I ran it again andf I get the original error with the bbcsdl.exe file gets removed/sent to quarantine. Quarantine....

Re: BBC BASIC for SDL 2.0 version 1.04a released

I can't recall getting asn error last time, but my AVG has moved bbcsdl.exe to quarantine owing to it being infected by Win32:Shiz {Spy}.

Should I report it as a false possitive ?

- And as always, thanks for yourr goodd work.

Re: The Entertainer and Software

Thanks @AndyF I was looking and playing so did not update that I had found it. I had to change the tempo to 4 to get it to sound on BeebEm as it did on my series 3. the software looks familiar, but I thought I could enter notes and compose a tune. But until I find my original I think I concur that t...

Re: The Entertainer and Software

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies.

Although I was more looking for the editing software rather than the entertainer, it was just that I recall it as one of the demo tracks.

Now looking over everygame going for the next 4 hours.... :D

Cheers,

Roger

Re: The Entertainer and Software

Thanks Andy.

I think I'm looking for the software that created it, with The Entertainer as a sample file. Are you aware of how your version was created. - If only I could find the original tape !! ah....

The Entertainer and Software

Hi All, it has been some time since my last post. Back in the day I had a tape version of a music composing software that had some supporting tracks. One of these tracks was "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. I can't find the tape in any of the places that I store Beeb stuff and now cannot remember ...

DanielJ,

Have you tried Dave Curren, of Tynemouth Software Blog fame, this post suggests he had one once.
