Re: FS - Archimedes Parallel Port Game Pad

Hi TopBanana

I'm guessing this is long gone but if not, would it be possible to purchase it?

Hi Dave. Nice designs. May I ask which company you used to make the mouse pads?
Of course. It was A1 Graphics of Annan, via this eBay listing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Personalised ... 4009033936

Thanks, I'll give them a go.

Re: Squiggle?

It's called !Squiggly. It was written by Stuart Cupit in 1989. If you have access to the Arcade BBS file archive, it's file number 001841 in area 41 (Acorn 32-bit graphics). Arcade BBS is now sadly offline, but there's a copy on the Wayback Machine. That's the one - thanks very much! I would have n...

Squiggle?

Hi I was lucky enough to go to a school with a computer lab full of A310's (+1 A440 for the solitary laser printer) back in 1989 and, coming from a BBC Micro / ZX Spectrum background, was blown away by these machines. I've been trying to track down a silly demo called something like 'Squiggle' that ...

Yesterday I received... a pair of Archimedes branded mouse mats, printed with the design I recreated here: http://www.davespace.co.uk/doodles/archimedes.html

Re: 16-bit IDE podules - 1 LEFT

Someone else should have it, it's my fault I missed the reply and I have more than enough Acorn hardware, as my other half would attest to in no uncertain terms :-)

Mark, thanks - will do in any case.

Re: 16-bit IDE podules

Sorry Ian I didn't think to check my PM's. I've gotten back to you but if you'd prefer to offer it to someone else that's understandable.

Hi

Hi Thought I'd introduce myself as I've been reading these forums for ages. A bit about me - like many here I used BBC Micros at school but I'm most interested in the earlier Archimedes computers. I tried programming on them back in the day but owned a PC at home so inevitably spent most time progra...
