Re: Electron joystick

Thanks.

I must say that it is a little bit more complex that I expected.

Re: Gotek Problems on My Electron

I would experiment with ff.cfg

For me on Slogger Pegasus 400 I have set up just interface. interface = shugart and nothing else changed. (host = unspecified)
Second question what file formats are you using ssd?

Another common issue is ribbon upside down, done it like half a dozen times myself.

Re: Gotek Problems on My Electron

Have you set up jumpers correctly? Have you set up FF.cfg?
It looks like interface is not configured correctly.

Electron joystick

Could someone help me understand how Electron reads values of joystick? I know that it goes via Plus1 analogue port, but would it be possible to bypass it and read digital joystick values from edge connector without need of full Plus1? Does Plus 1 ROM has done f functions which allow joystick values...

http://www.8bitkick.cc/PlayUEF.html# you are reinventing the wheel, already done 100% working & even a 300baud Atom version too! I know this project quite well ;) This one is JS, I am doing this in c# .net ... because I can. I do learn a lot about Acorn computers, and C# and .net core, so it is not...

Sorry, I cannot reply to your PM, becasue I am too new to this forum.
I am looking for any which will allow me to test UEF conversions. I assume model B should be ok?
PM's should be enabled now.
Thank you very much. :) I didn't expect this.

Re: Hello Wor...errr...Stardot!

Welcome.
I had similar story with Electrons.
I bought few broken ones, and I managed to fix them all. It is amazing how robust little machines they are!
If it is not ULA socket, then it must be RAM :D

Re: UEF2WAV in .Net Core 2

I am working back on this project. I managed to add support for .hq.uef files. I am still struggling with calculating gap lenght for chunk x0112 and x0116. They seems to be either extreamly long, or very very short. I must be doing something wrong. WAVs do load properly on electrons. I need to aquir...

Wanted BBC micro. (Closed)

Hi.
I am working on UEF2WAV port on .net.
I have tested everything on my Electron, but some bits (x0104 chunk for example) are BBC micro related only.
Therefore I am looking for reasonable priced BBC.
Doesn't have to be pretty, preferably working, but fixer-upper are fine as well.

Hi.
I would be interested in one of those, if it is still available.
I got my Plus 1 today, so this cart would be ideal.

OK. Bug found in implementation of 0112 chunk. Now I can load everything what I was testing on. Dead or Alive loaded for the first time. :) Most of Electron games loads (I am still looking for. So I got what I was aiming for. I think it is time for next step. I am waiting for LM386 to continue my pr...

UEF2WAV in .Net Core 2

Hi I started writing a conversion software from UEF to WAV. I managed to implement and test following chunks 0100, 0110 and 0112. I have few other implemented, but I can't find uef which use them. And I do have a problem loading DeadOrAlive, and I don't really know why. It is probably because it is ...
