Re: New ROM / RAM Expansion Board for BBC B

So, myquestion is: when you enable 4/5, 6/7 and C/D you get Lancelot with graphics? if so, my board works in different mode, otherwise, what i thougt was an issue is the normal mode Yes I get graphics when all three 32k RAM modules (banks 4, 5, 6, 7, C & D) are write enabled. Edit: ...but adding a ...

Re: New ROM / RAM Expansion Board for BBC B

Wow Ken, what a testing deskboard! I did test you suggested: in a few words, Lancelot starts with graphics mode when no more than 4 banks (2 pairs of 32k socket) are unprotected. I tried all sort of combination, with 1 or 2 32k RAM mounted, and got the above result. So, myquestion is: when you enabl...

Re: New ROM / RAM Expansion Board for BBC B

Ken, thank you for the help, but found the problem elsewhere!! I removed the write protection link from the two RAM IC on the IntegraB, and this way games works! \:D/ So, with RAM IC removed or protected, i presume games use slot 4 to 7, that are ok. Apart of this two games, the SW ram i added seems...

Re: New ROM / RAM Expansion Board for BBC B

Sounds like you've still got some issues with your board. Firstly, can you try installing some ROM images into RAM banks 4, 5, 6 & 7 using the *EELOAD utility. This utility does a verification check of what's been installed in the RAM banks. Secondly, what happens if you switch to a shadow mode (eg...

This is a great board :D I've had Level 9 :- Time and Magic & Lancelot working with graphics. Also PAL based Quest Paint and smally mouse work great. Re: What do I need to connect riscos4.39 to a windows workgroup for file sharing?

I set the configration, and *ehinfo report the nic is set to 10baseT, with twisted wire and incorrect polarity, and states the link is Good (when rj45 cable is inserted, of course). Anyway, not only I can't get my rpc ping to router or pc, but I had to *unplug etherh podule to get riscos 6.20 sofloa...

Thread has got huge now. Quick question did anyone every design any sort of 3d printed case for the Beeb version? The atom one fits in a project case and got me thinking to putting this in one. I think the standard PiZero case used IanB is perfect, look his post https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewto...
