Re: RGB to HDMI using a Pi Zero and a small CPLD

Great work IanB! But the cpld update works with the old analog board (with bottom ic added) too? Yes it works with the old analog board I've a Max9144 left from one of your old pcb version, it seems having same pinout and characteristic of Max9108, do you think i can use it for adding the IC7 to my...

Great work IanB! But the cpld update works with the old analog board (with bottom ic added) too? Else if, i'd like buy one of your new jlc board (hoping it will cost less than the ones I bought from pcbway! ) And, new sw versions works with other TI graphics video chips too (I.e. Re: Beeb micro doesn't reset at boot

Nothing to do: it seems i can't charge pin 2 nor pin 6 and 7 to voltage greater than 1.6v.. so N555 pin 3 go high and stay so, or sometime floats but with no apparent reasong. I get some decent pulse only rare times, at cold start. I changed everything about timer circuit, except the C6. I have 5v a...

Re: Beeb micro doesn't reset at boot

At first test with multimeter, 555's pin 2 goes to 3,5v, drop to 0v when break preassed and return to 3.5v. Pin 3 start at 1.6v, goes to 5v when triggered by pin2, but rest to 5v for minutes... Kazzle, really useful, as always, your info! I made more test, changed C24 and R13 (with a 1.2mega resistor, i didn't found a 1M, but i think it could only change the timing) and, and it made the big difference, changing the keyboard with a know woking one (the old one has an old wire repairing behi...

Beeb micro doesn't reset at boot

One of my Micro (issue 7 MB) stopped working with black screen and continuous beeb, i made some test and replaced ic33, ic16, ic32 and both VIAs, but no change. But the more strange it's that i get high value (about 4,4 v) in IC 16 pin 3 even without the 555 mounted! I removed the CPU, the IC31 and ...

2) Emulation of Datacentre USB Drive 5.
The existing Pi1Mhz supports Datacentre Ramdiscs 0,1,2 & 3 and adding USB / FAT file access (Drive 5) would make this facility more useable.

There is now a new option "NTSC Phase" which alters the phase of the NTSC decoder so there is no longer any need to adjust the delay value.
