Thanks Fellas
I've also have a couple of boards spare along with the surface mount components.
On reflection I think a board and SMD parts would be good.

Re: Benchmarks

does anyone who has one feel like helping out?
I've got a working A7000 in storage.
I can get it setup if no-one else has there's set-up.
I'd need walking through the run process though :) I dont have much riscOS experience.

Also, check the wound component solder joints. They tend to flex with the shock of power cycling and go open circuit eventually.
I've seen this on most of my beebs.

Re: Model B Issue 7 continuous beep at boot / RAM issue

Hi Lardo

Check out the ICs north of the RAM area on the BBC B schematic diagram
IC43,IC44 and IC 45 marshal the CAS0 and CAS1 column bank selection.
Try swapping those and move further up the path if they are fine. ( IC28, IC30, IC41 for example)

Re: Faulty BBC issue 7

Is it the same EPROM? What programmer are you using? Does it have a verify facility? As DutchAcorn says the initial screen is mode 7 Frogger with audible tones and cycling LEDs. If your EPROM doesnt work in the working BEEB ( replacing the OS ROM )then it could be the EPROM has some stuck bits... He...

Hi Steve

Wow... Splash screens as well =D>

Am I using the 3.7 version incorrectly?
I'm getting this:

PS C:\Users\Marcus\Documents\Acorn Computers\Ozmoo> python make-acorn.py alice3.z5
Can't execute 'lzsa'; is it on your PATH?

Re: Second Failure of Start-up Capacitor C9 on Beeb PSU

Thanks wheel_nut... I've thought about this specific issue myself.
Was it an 85 or 105degC cap? Who is the manufacturer? Is there anything else that could have contributed to its early demise?

Here's an interesting one I stumbled upon.... at robotfindskitten.org
Its an ASCII zen simulator...
A version coded as a z5 module written by Dave Griffith.
It works in a quirky way in 80x32  =D>

Re: PunyInform and Ozmoo

Hi Steve

I think I've found a bug thats crept in between v3.1 and v3.2
In Beebem if i choose Master and 65c02 copro.
Then boot the attached Alice disk select mode (0).
With v3.1 it runs fine... with v3.2 it prints some location text and then a " Fatal error :8 "
