Re: Ray Traced Spheres

Looks great. Have you got the code you used to generate it?
I used the code uploaded by sbadger further up the thread.
And changed the palette setup loop for blue/green from 17 to 15 for the above image :)

Here's one set to '16'

Re: Ray Traced Spheres

If you want to develop for VideoNuLA without using the actual hardware, the B-Em and b2 emulators support it.
Need help setting B-em up for VideoNula - I cant see any settings in the drop downs #-o [-o<

Re: A3010 restoration

Flipping over the board there is an interesting patch with a resistor. Havent buzzed it out yet but wondered if this has been seen before?
My working 3010 has that patch on the upper surface... not sure what it does though.

DOSPlus and Gem can be run on a BBC B too. But has anyone tried this?
The 286 RPI copro allows a lot of early DOS software to operate.

Re: BBC Model B - keyboard problems !

Most keys don't seem to be working, but those that do don't produce the correct characters :
I had this recently....

It was the 7445 decoder IC on the keyboard PCB.
One or two of the bits were sticking giving a mixed up ASCII map.

Re: Remember the great 8271 shortage ?

Just pulled one out of a Beeb - datecode on the bottom is 8331.
This piqued my interest so I pulled one at random and its an 8330 date code.
They probably bought them in large batches... No just in time at PCB assembly

Hi Lee

I think I have a bunch of Micronet 800 literature in a folder somewhere.
If its of interest I can scan it in.

I'll post a general photo of it over the weekend.
