Re: Yarrb - redesigned

cleaning the clock signal by adding a 100 - 150Ω resistor in the wire from pin 13 of IC44 to pin 37 of the 6502 socket will improve stability of your Atom.
Done.... Atom now running great :D

Re: Model B+ MMC install help required

Oooh thats interesting... A B+ with factory fitted 8271 :D

The ROM with the naked window is most likely the DFS and no... It should have a sticker over it.
It might be an idea to erase it and re-program

Re: BBC Master Composite colour fix - stuck

A 470 picofarad capacitor should be connected between the east leg of R137 and the east leg of R153.
Looking at the circuit diagram that is equivalent to the mod E Q12 and B Q13

That behaviour can be indicative of a keyboard issue... Do you have access to a known working one?

Re: Wanted: HM4816AP chip

I recently got a batch of these from this seller: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8x-MB8118-10 ... 4180460956
This Bulgarian seller is reliable: shipped in good shape, and these are new-old-stock, not pulled from a old machine
I've had these from the same supplier - no problems
