Your administrator guide will help you to make the bridge between econet and ethernet. By the way an RiscIX will show itself on econet network. :D

Just an update when putting the image with etcher on an SD ( micro ) SD card it is seen as disc where RISCOS is. So slow progress.. :D

It would fit nicely in my R140 :D . But indeed it is true because a real floating chip was ( horribly ) expensive and the emulation software was relatively slow in comparison with the real thing not much floating-point intensive software was written.

That is important information because my R260 and also the A410/I run RO3 ( of course ). Did you do the writing also on an RO2 machine ?.

A small update : I was able to 'clone' my RiscIX to a SCSI2SD disk. Unfortunately no luck with the image. Procedure more or less described in :

After I discovered Google :D I did found on that website everything I needed. Sorry for the disturbance. It seems the card is working now only find nice DOS floppies on 720 Kb and Windows 3.11

We actually had the board working at one of the Big Ben Club evening but we wanted to have some more documentation. I think I will write the computer museum. Indeed a good find.
