Re: Virtual ABug?

I've got a Microsoft teams account that can have meetings with 250 people in them.
Could try that out. It also allows for presenting, shared workspace etc.

If you'd like a stand (or to share one) and haven't yet contacted the show organisers to let them know, could you please say so here so that I can confirm numbers to Chris? I might want one this year, I missed last years show but was there the year before. Will give Chris a shout and sort it with h...

I'll bring along the tables if I can, I've just bought a new car (which is an estate) so it depends on how well they fit inside compared to the van.

Re: ABUG SOUTH 22 to 24 November 2019 (Hampshire) BOOKING THREAD - NOW FULL - but accepting names for reserve list

As can be seen, we now have 30 names down for the event. Last time, we had about that number attend and there was plenty of space for everyone (a big change from some venues). However, the problem now is we actually don't have sufficient tables to accommodate more people. (And I will be very gratef...

Re: I have an Atomwide Risc PC 8 Slot Backplane with a set of metal case fixings (long!)

I'm interested in the backplane, what sort of price are you looking at Dave?
I've got a bunch of slices that I'm building into a rocket ship (when I have the time) so can always use a large backplane to take the number of cards that I want to attach to it.

Re: Is there an archiving project for RISC OS applications?

I've been archiving a pretty large collection of Risc OS applications that I've got.
The disks are all being run through my Kryoflux but I've got a lot of work to do. The intention is to scan the manuals and boxes.
I've thought about setting up a database containing all the bits for each title.

Non destructive scanning only, this is an item from the Museum's archive and we have to treat it with respect and with all the handling advice that the museum provides. That saves me bringing the huge hulk of a device if someone else is going to be doing that task. Well done John. I've just bought ...

So, what do you think about putting a PCB with a Varta rechargable battery through a dishwasher cycle???? You should just cut them off, replace them with something else.
