Hi Ian, fantastic work on these! Please could I put my name down for an 8-bit one?
(sorry I can't send PMs yet so if you could PM me the best way to contact you that would be great)
Thanks,
Tom

@IanS - thank you! Looks like you are right. I've been wondering about that for some time! @rthorntn thanks for the info. Yes, the bodge job that is currently in there is a small ATX supply, although still slightly too big, with the appropriate molex pin for the motherboard rewired to -12v. Also has...

Replacing the PSU in an A4000 is also something I need to do (mainly because the replacement someone fitted many years ago doesn't actually fit in the A4000 case properly, so it won't close!). I'm trying to work out if a PSU with -12v is needed. I've looked around the circuit diagrams and can't see ...

Re: AEH50 Ethernet II Podule
Well I've solved my AKA25 problem and can ping the router (still to do is setting up dns and gateway address for external IPs, but hopefully the hard bit is done). The problem was because I was plugging the card into the back of an A3000. Whereas I could get a pretty healthy looking feedback from *e...

Re: AEH50 Ethernet II Podule
Thank you very much or the info. Unfortunately that's what I was expecting the answer to be. So it looks like either the card or the converter are faulty.
Time to get the meter out!

Re: AEH50 Ethernet II Podule
Hi DutchAcorn, I'm also getting around to trying this with the AKA25 card, and a 210TS converter box. Can I ask - Do you get LEDs on as soon as you power up the Acorn, or do they come on once you bring the interface up by configuring it? I'm getting no LED activity at all on the converter box, not e...

Re: RasterMan v0.16b demo and programmer's module available
I've just tried this on my A3000. It's very impressive to watch!! Amazing to see this machine display palettes like this on screen for the first time (as far as I know!). I look forward to trying (and failing) to understand some of the source code when you release it. It's really wonderful on these ...

Re: Archimedes Level 4 File Server
Yes, thanks very much for spending the time to do this and sharing it with the community. My old PC was struggling a bit so I've done a quick convert of lcww1's png files and compiled them into a pdf of just over 9MB Obviously the quality is not as good as the original scans, and monochrome. The fro...

@lcww1 got the pm. Thank you for that. I can't pm you back currently. That completed cable looks great if you'd be able to send one of those. The wait time is no problem. If you could let me know how to pay you that would be excellent.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: Add a second floppy to Archs without support (i.e. extra Gotek)
@IanS Ah I had no idea! Thank you for the information though. I have a vague memory reading about adding a 2nd floppy to an A3000 (in either Archimedes world or Acorn User in the very early 90s) and seem to remember it involving extra circuitry, maybe even having to buy a board. This is my memory fr...

Hello, I'm a bit late to the party but wondering if there are any more of these available? A ready made one would be super.
I haven't seen any feedback about it in an A3000 but can give it a go and post my findings on here if anyone would find that useful.
Thanks,
Tom
