Re: Today I received.....

Never had a Speccy BITD. So, in anticipation of the shipping of my Spectrum Next, I thought I should do a little bit of light reading.

Rapid 85-1706 three channel benchtop DC power supply (5V fixed at 500 mA, 12v fixed at 500 mA, 0 to 30v variable at 10A with adjustable current li...

In case anyone is interested, I am selling a Hakko FX-951 digital soldering station . This is a superb soldering station that takes T12 and T15 integrated tips with fast thermal recovery. The station itself has been used for about 10 to 20 hours, but the included iron and stand, cables and miscellan...

Does anyone who is coming to Cambridge have a Model B that is surplus to requirements that they would be willing to sell me? I'm not looking for anything fancy as long as it works. A disc interface and re-capped PSU would be desirable but not essential.

Is it possible to leave the museum and return on the same ticket (on the same day, of course)? My wife will be with me you see, as we are making a weekend of it, and she's fine with the fact she won't be able to come into the room. She said she might indulge in a little retail therapy, in the retai...

Re: 6522 (and maybe others) tester.

I don't think this would be 'difficult' in the conventional sense. Indeed, an FPGA would probably be overkill. If we are talking about relatively slow (by today's standards) 5V tolerant logic devices, it should be possible to develop something just using a micro-controller. The difficulty would be w...

There is a direct frequent train service from Stanstead to Cambridge (journey time about 33 minutes).

please do add it to the list of Issues on Github. All potential issues need recording. Done I don't believe anyone is actively developing it currently. guddler no longer has time to. That's a great pity. Hopefully someone will come forward. I would love to assist; but I just don't have the skills.

I having been running this on Mojave for a few days and it appears to be working OK. (Although, I haven't stretched too hard yet.) We start (with breakfast) at 8am each morning.
We are pretty much at capacity this weekend. How much kit are you planning to bring?
