Re: Mode 7 flip between pages

Both programs create 20 different Mode 7 screens in the Beeb's main memory, then change registers 12 and 13 of the 6845 CRT controller chip to change the 'Display Start Address' to cycle through the 20 screens to produce the animated images of Miner Willy and Technician Ted. I didn’t know you could...

Re: Today I received.....

A very nice copy of BCPL Standalone Generator and license document to fill in! I wonder if they still want £250 to distribute stuff...

No disc but I had the disc and no box so it worked out well!

Just the calculations package to find now.

Definitely Chuckie Egg. Great fun and easy to get into.

I would also include Elite to show what could be achieved on such a limited resource machine.

Acorn Atom software for sale

Hello all I recently got this haul of Atom software but don’t want to add yet more collecting madness to my already strained retro-spousal relationship. Plus xmas is approaching... These are all up for £20 each (plus p&p from the UK) and are untested. My tape player chewed up a copy of Pentagram for...

Re: Twin Kingdom Valley

Had the mobile version of TKV done well then I suspect Trevor might've produced the sequel but, from his interview in The Classic Adventurer, it doesn't sound like much work was ever done on the Valley of Gold game. I bought the mobile version for the Nokia (I think) I had back then. It was hard wo...

Re: Tatung Einstein 256 Machine and Information Wanted

Would it not be the same, being for a 3" drive? :?: :D Its down to the wiring in the computer not necessarily matching the pin out of the gotek. Specifically around the power supply. I think the correct power pin for these is different in the block connector between Spectrum and Amstrad so could be...
