Re: Elan Enterprise

I went the route of getting an EXDOS interface from a guy on sellmyretro. This coupled with a regular gotek flashed with the flashfloppy firmware has resulted in a nice machine to play with! The games archive which you can download with a quick search on google gives loads and loads of 800k images o...

Re: WTB: Gotek SFRM72

Daniel, you’re a genius.

I flashed the gotek with the flashfloppy firmware and it only bloody well works!

Re: WTB: Gotek SFRM72

Yeah, the 720k one. Apparently the 1.44 ones don’t work with the EXDOS floppy interface adapter I have, but the 720k ones do :)

Re: RGB to HDMI using a Pi Zero and a small CPLD

Hi, I was reading about this great project and I was thinking if this would theorically work, maybe with some specific customization, also with other old PAL 50hz game console that had rgb output to scart like the Megadrive. Lately I was considering a scaler/converter to output the video to a vga/h...

Re: RetroClinic DataCentre SOLD

Yeah, I was going to say I could add a fair bit more, like econet, and a speech chip, and upgrade the 8271 with a 1770, and shove more 1mhz bus stuff in like a beebopl. Right up until the psu gives up or there’s physically no more room! My beeb is a mess inside as I’ve not routed the signal wires fr...

You’re sure using peroxide will not adversely affect the plastics? I’d be worried it might make stuff weaker/more brittle

Speedball 2 for me.

Or something really ambitious like Pinball Dreams - the c64 and cpc6128 work-in-progress versions of this are remarkable.

They’d be an X68000 bounty for PD! ;)
