What settings best replicate the 5x mode from earlier in the thread? Try uncommenting these sections (and make sure the the default are commented) config.txt: ## Example Atom Setting (scaling by 2.5) ## ## 1600x1200 @ 60Hz ## ## Scale by 1:3 - 552x424 => 1380x1060 ## l/r overscan = (1600-1380)/2 = ...

Is this binary good to go with an Atom? Or does that require a different binary?

I can heartily recommend Lancelot, which has been mentioned previously in this thread. It was reviewed in the same issue of The Micro User as Exile and scored very well indeed.

Re: What is the average age on here??

I’m 39. I went to school in Sheffield and I recall both my Primary and Junior schools having a few BBC Bs and a Master. I went to Secondary School in Sep ‘90 (I think!) and we definitely had a room full of A3000s. I think we progressed to a few RISCPCs by the time GCSEs came around, and I recall som...

The 3DO’s svideo output can now get the OSSC treatment, it’s never looked so good!
Got my own RetroTink 2X + connector to OSSC today.
Is it running ok? What are you using it with?

Re: Vintage Collections

Atari Falcon (060) I hate you. (seriously though, I'd love a Falcon, but prices are just silly. I'll just have to settle for using my STE. While crying) It’s a tremendously interesting machine. Some of the recent stuff Doug Little (DML) has done involving the cpu, fpu and DSP is pretty incredible.

I’ve not tried reset first, I’ll give that a try.

I’m afraid I’d need a step by step guide on ow to build something from the dev branch :lol: I’m pretty clueless about how to actually ‘do’ things with computers! Now, ask me one about Air Traffic Control and I’ll be of use! :D

Re: RGB to HDMI using a Pi Zero and a small CPLD

On the Atom the picture from cold is great and after an auto calibration it’s pretty much perfect but it certainly seems to degrade after a while, I guess as the machine warms up. Like something is drifting and errors start to creep in. An auto calibration or two after that does not get it back to p...

I think I’d be interested in an assembled board for an A3000, this does look very intriguing

And also an assembled board for my A420/1 if that machines is compatible, please.

Re: RGB to HDMI using a Pi Zero and a small CPLD

Auto Calibration doesn’t seem to work it’s way through all six offset values individually anymore, it just does all six at once. Is this correct? Or was this always the case for modes 0-6 and I did not realise it?
