Re: Sentinel PC Port

My dad was quite good at the Sentinel, I recall him on levels in the 1000s, but I always used to get screwed over by the meanies (the ones that rotate quickly and teleport you).

Haha no, nothing computer related :) These days I like to trade and swap where I can :) I’ve mostly come to terms with the realisation that I won’t own machines like the Sam Coupe and Jupiter Ace, so it’s nice to see members of this community get them :) please post a thread detailing how you get o...

The Lord Triax video’s are brilliant. I know I’ll never seriously attempt to beat Exile so watching these videos showed me what I was missing.

I remember us having Palace of Magic (and Citadel) but having just watched the 4 part YouTube playthrough I just don’t recall any of the screens. Weird. I remember the likes of Citadel and Wizadore quite clearly but not PoM for some reason.

It’s a difficult one to judge on without knowing the full details of the pcb’s life. If they got it when the majority of the damage had already been done to the point where repairing the pcb was already out of the question.... then I can kind of see why they might consider just leaving it as-is so a...

I think the Level 9 ones take some beating.

Lancelot is brilliant but requires a Master or beefed-up Beeb to really appreciate. Not sure if there was an Elec version.

Does anyone know if the ctorwy31 TurboSPI board is compatible with MMFS (using the T/MMFS rom) like the original TurboMMC is?

They’re certainly not cheap or widely available but luckily I didn’t pay through the nose for this one. I guess you could say it was a similar price to getting hold of, say, an Atom.

I’m pretty sure Amiga doesn’t have auto-boost. Up on joystick to accelerate, fire for turbo. Unless you’re talking about using the keyboard?
