the beeb has a overvoltage protection in the psu ;) but i don't think that will kik in . measure the 5 volt line , if it happens :) is it totaly turned off ?? or make the beeb still makes any noise ? -5 volt line still there ? maybe the main switch from the psu ? and so on and so on Some overvoltage...

men made rom board on the right side you see MOS :) , they had a problem with de speaker wire on the left :)

under the right side are maybe more roms ? picture ? the 4 rom sockets of the beeb + 6 on the board so you get 10 , why not 16 is the qeustion ?
