Thanks!

Ooh, that's not a protection system I ever saw before on the Beeb!
Surprised also that the (UEF) version in the Stairway archive still has it included.

The disc version on there is protection free, if that is any help to you?

Take a look at Game I on this disc.
This is my hybrid of the tape loading screen from the uef image and a disc copy of the main game from STH.
Also I amended the little loading routine and added some instructions.

Mick.

Yet for all the protection, changing 1 byte lets you through without the code!

Ok :D good to know the disc version is unprotected.

Sorry I have not subscribed this thread so I was unaware of the replies sooner.

Many thanks to all! (I'll take a look at your disc @billcarr)

By the moment I haven't ways of transferring discs to the original computer, only tapes.

I will play it then, when I buy one of that cool SD devices for the Beep ;)

OR hmmm.. I am thinking about a tool to manage ".ssd" or ".dsd" disc files, and convert a file into a .UEF, do you know if something like that exists?

Anyway, meanwhile, I'll play it on the emulator on my PC ;)
