Hear, hear! =D>

Quite a leap from the squawky box of wires in the corner at Halifax. :D

I'd like one but already got a pile of hardware projects (let alone software projects) so ... it's not for a lack of retro-desire but ... :(

I'd like a complete kit (for my Atom). I'll collect it in Bolton.

Hi Sir Lazerusr,

I would love a full kit, doesn't have to be soldered together, would love the fun of putting it together.

Ed......:-)

I am in Canada so there will be shipping cost differences there as well.

Thanks.....

First batch posted out this morning. You may well receive them tomorrow.

Bit of a weird feeling as I have never done anything like this before. Please be gentle with any feedback [-o<

So are you saying that you're not ready for any howl-round :?:

Don't worry, although *. members may not be fully house trained, they are mainly tame. So you should be okay.... :P

Arrived today... Not opened it yet :D

Edit:

Opened it. Only one word needed....

Awesome! =D> =D> =D> =D>

This is a great package you've put together there with User manual, packing list checked off and all the parts.

Knowing how much my lower chip count smaller board VIDC Enhancers cost me in parts, I'm not sure how you've managed to keep the price so low and not end up losing money. Seriously. Well done!

Paul

Agreed. The most I'd hoped for was a A4 sheet with assembly instructions, so I'm (very pleasantly) surprised.

Do you want payment now or are you ok waiting till then?

Cheers

I have added your name to the list. Payment on the day is fine.

I suspect we ought to be using the main BeebOPL thread for discussion about its use, tunes, etc. So I have responded here.

Edit: Moderaters note - thecellartroll's post moved to the "BeebOPL: an FM Synthesiser for the BBC Micro" topic. Mark

Quite a few people picked up kits at the show yesterday and I have pretty much run out of PCBs now.

I am thinking about doing another run of PCBs and wanted to gauge how much more interest there is. If you would like one of the kits and haven't ordered one yet, please let me know. (If your name is shown in the list in the first post as pickup "at ABUG Bolton", there is no need to contact me again - there is already a kit put aside for you. :D )

Picked mine up at the show and built it yesterday. All working perfectly and just have to sort out a case for it now.

Just wanted to say a big thank you - as others have said, it's amazing that you've put this together for the price and the manual alone must have taken a lot of effort. =D>

I'm glad you like it. 8)

The reality is that (like I suspect is the case with many, and I hope most, of the projects people on here pursue) it was no effort at all...

... because it was enjoyable. This is how I enjoy spending my spare time. :D

(This, BTW, is also why I am uncomfortable with supplying ready assembled boards - because of my concern that it may cross the boundary into a 'chore'.)

Thanks Robert. My package arrived on Friday.

Thankfully, there are less components to solder than I thought there would be. Now where did I put my trusty old soldering iron?
