Is this the same as "Asteroid Belt"? If so, it's already in the archive...

There is a picture of the tape case on Dave E's new site which shows both a game called Asteroids and Asteroid Belt.
It may be possible that Asteroid Belt was simply a re-issue of Asteroids (Like other software houses did), but there is also a chance it may be a different game. Got to get to find out for sure.

Ah, fair enough. Just remembered playing an Asteroids type game from Computer Concepts and assumed they would only have made one.

Landing Party was definitely both a BBC and an Electron game - you can see from the box. I don't have a copy of it though.

Arcadian definitely had Viper. I think Dave e may have bought a substantial portion of Arcadian's tapes so he may have it now. ..

Wouldn't this be Asteroid Belt which is already archived? I can't imagine Computer Concepts releasing two versions of Asteroids.

BBC Model B, ATPL Sidewise, Acorn Speech, 2xWatford Floppy Drives, AMX Mouse, Viglen case, etc.

I think I saw the inlay on Dave's new website, both Asteroids and Asteroid Belt were advertised. It is possible, however, that they are the same game and Asteroid Belt may have been a re-issue???
On the other hand the two may be totally different games and the only way to know for sure is to find the Asteroid tape and check it.

regards,
Mick.

Hi Mick,
Most of these are already in the big list of MIA's here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3437&p=134474#p140075

I have added the only ones that weren't already there - The 2 Micro Power ones and MRM Wilf

I probably think Alien destroyer was just a misprint - but ya never know!
