Stunt Motorbike Game Author

Postby Michael Brown » Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:14 pm

There is a disk called Supergames and one of the games on it is called Stunt Bike or Stunt Motorbike.
The high score table credits a Colin McDougall although most of the games on the disk seem to be credited to a Colin McDougall or Colin Power including Acornsoft titles.

I can only assume he changed whatever was at line 5 in the game to his name, so the question is... What was there/should be there?

Does anyone Know or has anyone got another copy of this basic version of Dare Devil Dennis?

Mick.

That disc was uploaded by me ages ago, as it was doing the rounds at primary schools at the time.
The menu was changed, as 'Stunt Bike' was not included in the menu

so lucky I found it! 8)

DDDennis, why not just tape to disc it :?

I had a feeling it may have been you!

Sorry about the confusion with Dare Devil Dennis, I was just making a comparison between Stunt Bike being a basic version of it.

I don't suppose you can remember what data was originally in line 5 of Stunt Bike before you put your name in it?

data was originally in line 5

Come on Mike, I can't mind that from 30yrs ago!
I will hunt other discs, as it 'Might' be on another disc my dad had for his
computer projects/exams and reel to reel catalogue discs.
But don't hold your breath! :o

Thanks anyway.

I just thought it would be a nice game to put onto one of my new games disks and I am trying to keep all games as close to how they were originally written as possible.

The only other thing (if all else fails) is to insert "........." into line 5 as this may have even been the text anyway!.

Also if you have anymore old games disks you can post, then this would be great as there may always be the odd missing game on them.
