Hi, PJ. Thanks for the upload! Can you provide any more info on this, er, unique Beeb software?

From the screenshot, it looks like Way of the Exploding Fist without fighting! Very enlightened, indeed! :D

Hi,

Can you provide any more info on this, er, unique Beeb software?

I'd started and practically completed it this time last year.

But felt I could do something more with it.
Anyway I eventually picked it up again, made some better envelopes for the music and re-colored the gfx and added a lower case font (which was a great improvement).

I huffman-ed the text as well which was a good way to add a bit of compression.

It's interesting in that it loads all the data directly from disk into high memory and low below the DFS from $400 to $800. I didn't want that effect where you see corrupted graphics before data is relocated.

I'd thought about it Kees but couldn't see how a SID tune would be any better!

Yes indeed - It's great how a bit of hatching extends the Beebs limited palette!

Has anyone discovered the hidden feature yet?

Not yet, but it got me intrigued about the Electron version of WotEF, which doesn't appear to load in Elkulator on my system... :(

It seems that the game uses MODE 5 with a palette switch, which was something I thought Yie Ar Kung Fu could have used to some effect. Interesting - well, I thought so. ;)

I'm busy creating the new games index and this seems more of a demo than a game. Maybe we need a demo section too?
