Weenies?

Postby Yrrah2 » Sun Apr 26, 2009 5:55 pm

Hi All,

Just came across some screenshots of Weenies.
Does anyone have played it?
Was it fun?
And where do I get it?

Cheers

As well as posting here and monitoring eBay, you might want to try using the Contact email address on the original publisher's website: www.cronosoft.co.uk. It's not been available for quite some time tho ...

Thanks Sam,

Have mailed them. (waiting for an answer)
And looked on eBay but nothing to find there.

Cheers

I have it and since it doesn't work on a tape-only electron (it does work on a beeb direct from tape or transferred to disc on beeb or elk), I'm not too bothered about keeping it (it's in my for sale list here). PM me if you want to buy it (£3 inc postage) or swap something for it (do you have any spare electron games?!).

It is very good... the graphics are amazing - it looks just like lemmings! The gameplay is pretty unique (you place blocks, ropes etc rather than controlling the weenies) but it is VERY hard from the second level! You always need to save all the weenies and level 2 is only doable with lightning reactions!

I thought it was a fantastic game - amazing bit of coding... but i just couldn't get used to the controls. it really needs a mouse.
