Mystery device on eBay

Postby jonb » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:05 am

Morning all!

I was browsing a certain auction site this morning over coffee and came across this weird old item:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/182785962268

I wonder if anyone can guess what it is? Supposedly came with a load of BBC Micro stuff. There's a few clues in the description.

I don't know myself so I thought I'd ask here!

Cheers
JonB

It is interesting, I wonder what the insides look like?

I can't see that it connects to a Beeb (or anything else apart from the mains) so it isn't a BBC peripheral as such. Maybe it was just somebody's idea of an ultra-modern (at the time) egg-timer?
