I had assumed that a modern digital tv could not be connected to the Atom’ RF modulator.
I was wrong. I connected the modulator to the TV aerial connection and then used the auto tune facility of the TV.
I selected analogue only and a cable only connection. The auto tune then found the Atom as a single analogue channel.
It was only necessary but not essential to then adjust the brightness as I preferred a black background. This is a TV that will be solely for displaying the Atom’s output.
The component output on PL4 is an alternative but I could see little difference.
